We had to reschedule some of our meetings a couple times and he responded immediately and was available when we were available. He is very versatile and provides ANY and ALL genres. He was organized with our timeline, he was on time on wedding day and set up efficiently in 3 different locations at our venue. He ensured that everyone's names were pronounced correctly and made everyone feel comfortable. He interacted with our wedding guests and made sure everyone was on the dance floor. Everyone commented on how fun he made the night. He offered many different packages and allowed us to add on to our package whenever we needed. We ended up adding his Photo Booth services which was a MAIN attraction at our wedding. I seriously can go on and on about how amazing Victor and his team were. “We loved everything about EMG for our July 2025 wedding. The process of meeting and setting up a contract was easy and efficient. It was a completely tailored experience and did not feel rushed or pushed at all. He gave great recommendations and really understood what our vibe was for 115 guests. We went with an acoustic guitar player for ceremony, electric guitar cocktail hour and reception along with a DJ (Josuel lead) for the reception. We also had the photo station Photo Booth which was perfect for the setting. However our biggest compliments go to Josuel who was our lead DJ. He was organized, prepared and had an excellent presence and composure. He even sorted our last minute changes with the venues matre de because we and guests were taking too long at cocktail hour.. he figured out little changes so I didn’t have to! Above and beyond. Also he had everyone and I mean everyone dancing the whole night to a blend of 80s rock, 90s pop 2000s alt.. it was just perfect. Cannot say thank you enough to him and the whole EMG group.”

“We worked with Michael and the team at Gemini for our wedding at Ballyowen this past week, and they were great. Michael was easy to work with and great at making some changes on the fly and checking in with us through the night for a vibe check. That being said, Gemini absolutely nailed the vibe all night and had everyone dancing and having a good time. They really paid attention to crowd reaction and kept the music going in specific themes to match the room's energy. “Worked with Matt and the GBE team for my wedding in September. We worked closely with Matt (our dj/MC) since the first introductory call and he was so friendly and SO helpful throughout the whole wedding process. We loved that there was a questionnaire to fill out about any detail you can think about for the wedding (a lot of ones we didnt even think about until seeing it on the questionnaire!). After completion of that and about 1-2 months before the wedding we had another video call to review everything and Matt listened so well to our taste. He understood what songs we wanted to be played and what were absolute no's during the wedding. Whatever you wanted - he will listen! Now to the wedding day. We pretty much did not leave that dance floor, only to breath and get a drink here and there because you gotta rest. Voices were lost by the end of the night and that is the best sign there is to a great night. The music was amazing. Vibes were spectacular. Lighting was great. Such a great dance floor and music!!! He also had 2 other guys helping out and they were an incredible team! They bring the energy to the wedding and it was just absolutely amazing. We also did the Photo Booth through them and the quality of those pictures were amazing!!! Also the man running the Photo Booth - he was AMAZING. Sometimes you run out of poses when doing the Photo Booth but this man did not let that happen! He guided you on what pose to hit and it was so helpful. That could be looked at as a small little help but it's such a BIG help. The Photo Booth had a line all night long. We also did the late night snacks (Wendy's) and the guy who set up and manned it was so incredibly nice. He did a great job and kept whatever we wanted off to the side so he was sure we were able to get some ourselves and not miss. It was the perfect touch after hours of drinking to have that snack when leaving.”

“Brian, our DJ was fantastic. He was so attentive and followed every request to a T. He was SO happy for us and truly genuine in his well wishes for me and my husband. He kept the dance floor packed all night, filled in the blanks where I couldn’t come up songs, and kept everything running smoothly! We appreciate him so much, and wish Mr. Brian the absolute best. Jim, the owner, was also extremely communicative and so easy to work with and kind. It’s more than just a business to them, they actually care about your special day. Direct entertainment has the best pricing and package options by far, and the level of care was unmatched from the very first conversation. Thank you Brian & Jim from the bottom of our hearts! “11/10! Absolutely use Non-Traditional Wedding DJs! We had the absolute best experience working with DJ Nico Rojo and owner Ben Boylan at Non-Traditional Wedding DJs. My wife and I got married in October 2025 at Farm to People in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Music is very important to me and I cared a lot about our choice of DJ, and consequently met with a lot of different DJ services. It was immediately clear that NT DJs would be our choice once I met with them. Nico and Ben both convey high levels of competence and professionalism while retaining the feeling of a business owned and operated by real people, and importantly real people who genuinely care about your wedding and experience. When I think wedding DJ, my mind, and I think many people's, first goes to "what music is being played during the reception when everyone is on the dance floor?" You'll actually work with your DJ for way more than that - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and maybe more depending on your special day. Nico was not only great at that first, narrow idea of a DJ, but he was consistently awesome for every part of our wedding day. Whether he was determining what part of the evening music should be played, mixing and sequencing, or picking music that 'rhymed' with the rest of our selections, I felt very comfortable and at ease knowing he would crush it (and he did). Importantly, we are low-key and understated people and wanted our DJ to reflect that - we wanted to skip the common DJ-as-Hypeman setup that usually includes yelling into the microphone for folks to "get out on the dancefloor." Nico worked with us to understand how we wanted announcements and intro's to go and was happy to customize to our preferences. Everything was so smooth. We were able to think about all the other facets of planning a wedding while working with Nico & Ben!”
