John was on top of it, thoughtful, meticulous, and intentional throughout the entire planning process and all the way through the very last song of the night. We had a few “secret” songs that were kept from the bride and he held them close, ensuring there was no slip until the perfect moment. We also asked for specific moments of the songs to be played, down to a few seconds and John delivered every single time. Finally, we also asked for a wide range of genres throughout the reception- from oldies, to modern day pop, to old school country. Once again, John killed it and we had guests coming up to us all night saying how amazing he was. I don’t think there was ever a single moment where folks weren’t up and dancing! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

Jeremy was upfront with us with how he is a good MC, but he might not be the perfect MC for your stereotypical wedding, but he reassured us that he is a really good DJ. “We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single… From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long. Obehi is one heck of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!”

“I can't praise Marylands DJ enough! The team that worked with me, Taylor, DJ Steve, and DJ Scott were wonderful. Steve even condensed a song that I loved but felt was too long for a first dance down into a shorter version and now that's the only version I listen to. I told the team I wanted the vibe to feel like my favorite college bar and Scott, who dj'd our wedding in November 2023, was awesome! He kept the dance floor full until the very last minute!”
