We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. “Chris and Sarah played for our wedding at the MAAS building and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sarah set up meetings with us to discuss our expectations and day of timeline, and find out more about our music tastes. It felt very customized to us! We asked for an acoustic instrument rendition of Zeppelins “The Rain Song” for the wedding party processional and Chris knocked it out of the park. He also played a light jazzy “Isn’t she Lovely” , for the Bride’s walk down the aisle. It was perfect. Sarah’s voice is beautiful, the DJing was amazing. We got endless compliments. We closed down with the last remnants on the dance floor…. And Chris and Sarah endured haha - They kept the energy alive until late. Also - Accommodated our guests requests into the mix!
