“Our wedding here was INCREDIBLE and I couldn't recommend it enough. Every single person we worked with was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful and made this process so easy for us. Every single detail was executed perfectly. Every interaction was professional, timely, and warm. For the whole year leading up to our wedding, we felt incredibly supported and cared for. I had so many questions, and the Willowdale team was so prompt, helpful, and kind in their responses. As for the actual wedding, it was a total dream. The food is actually the best food ever... wedding food or not. It's been two months and everyone is still talking about it. The space is GORGEOUS and feels intimate and special while still accommodating larger weddings. Our coordinator, Julia, and the team worked with the florist and all the decor we dropped off ahead of time to execute the design and vision better than I could ever dream up. I was truly shocked when seeing the space - the attention and care to detail was unparallel and so gorgeous. And the BEST PART... On the day of the wedding, there was absolutely nothing to think about or stress about because Julia had it all under control. She communicated throughout the evening and made everything flowed seamlessly. As a result, we really got to just enjoy every single moment of the best day of our lives. All in all... we highly recommend getting married here. I wish we could do it all again. Willowdale and the team are so special. THANK YOU!! PS - the cookies are the best ever.”

“Bakers Ranch - Florida's Premier Top Rated All Inclusive Wedding Venue was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was timely, on point, and painless throughout the entire process. The quality of their work and overall value was truly beautiful - they put the biggest smile on my wife's face and were incredibly patient with our very loud, very personable group. They kept us on schedule, made sure there was always a drink in my hand, and were just wonderful to work with overall. “The Villa is the first venue that my now-husband and I visited when we were looking for a place to host our wedding. From the very beginning, the Saphire Event Group staff at The Villa were unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful, answering all of our questions even before we picked them as our venue. Once we picked the date and the wedding got closer, we were paired with our event producer, Daniella Cimino. Daniella was nothing short of exceptional throughout our whole planning process. She made sure that all of our questions were answered, that we felt confident in the timeline of our day, and made sure to go over even the smallest of details to make sure that nothing was missed. We truly cannot thank Daniella and the event staff at The Villa enough for their professionalism, attention to detail, and hard work to ensure our day was picture-perfect. The food was incredible, our guests are still raving about all of the unique options and how great their entrees were. We would absolutely recommend working with this venue, their team, and Daniella to anyone who is considering this venue for their special day.”

“Had a great time attending two different friends’ wedding at a simple affair - the space was beautiful and the perfect size for the amount of guests. I know the bride and groom at both loved being able to bring in their own vendors, which was nice that the venue allowed for something different compared to typical wedding venues. Jess Hoge was a really great planner for one of the weddings, it couldn’t have gone so smoothly without her!”

“Thank you so much to Mountain Crust and their crew for being so amazing. We hosted a Saturday wedding here in late June and it was absolutely stunning. There is enough shade in the lawn to make a big difference in the temp, and when it started to rain during dinner the staff moved our whole party (around 80 people) inside in just a few minutes. Everything turned out really well, and the venue is just gorgeous. Nico, the venue manager, was our day-of coordinator, and while there were a couple of snags (no PA announcements being made throughout the event, and our wedding cake was cut and served before we got to see it) most everything went really smoothly and felt organized. Communication was good and the staff were incredible day-of. We had so much fun and are so grateful to have found this venue!”

“I truly don’t even know where to begin, but first, I have to thank God for Sadaf, Alex, and the entire event hall team. Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made, and I promise you will not regret having your event here! From the very start, I called, texted, and even showed up unannounced numerous times, yet both Alex and Sadaf were always so welcoming and patient with all my questions and concerns. Their kindness and professionalism were unmatched. But on the day of my wedding… I am truly lost for words. It felt as if I were their own daughter, and they wanted nothing more than to make sure my day was absolutely perfect—and it was! My guests are still raving about how courteous the servers were and how kind and professional the bartenders were. And I can still picture Alex and Sadaf smiling at me on my wedding day, making sure everything was just right. I feel so incredibly blessed to have had my wedding there, and I have not a single regret. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything—both seen and unseen, known and unknown. “Saratoga springs is a breathtaking venue. I absolutely loved my space. The staff are caring, communicative, detailed and super easy to work with. We used the Redwood Grove space. It is secluded and intimate. Beautifully covered in trees. The space is amazing and green and so earthy. The staff sets up your space and pulls down your space (if hired). They pay amazing attention to detail and were eager to ensure that my space was everything I wanted. The only issue I have is the short amount of time you are allotted to be on site. You cannot get ready there and you only have one hour to explore the venue and take all the pictures on site that you want. Which on a wedding day is chaotic. It would be nice to have more time to explore the space especially for the cost of renting a space. Other than the time constraints everything is organized, and amazing. The food is amazing and we for so many compliments on our food! The space overall is beautiful and is a place I would recommend to anyone with how attentive the staff are.”

“My husband and I got married at Ashton Gardens on November 9th, and everything was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, the team at Ashton Gardens made the planning process smooth and stress-free with periodic check-ins and planning suggestions. The venue’s all-inclusive nature was the biggest blessing, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to focus on enjoying our big day rather than worrying about the details and coordinating with vendors. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ciera Wilson, our day-of coordinator. She stepped in during the final weeks after our original coordinator departed, and her professionalism and warmth made the transition seamless. Ciera was attentive to every detail, did what needed to be done, and ensured that we had nothing to worry about. She truly went above and beyond to make our day flawless! Additionally, the serving staff was equally phenomenal—friendly, accommodating, and always one step ahead. From the setup to the last toast, the Ashton Gardens team showed a level of attentiveness and care that exceeded our expectations. One thing to note: make sure your timeline aligns with the venue’s standard hours. We had to purchase additional time to fit the entirety of our wedding timeline, but the team worked with us to make the process simple and hassle-free. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The stunning venue, the incredible staff, and the seamless coordination made our wedding everything we dreamed of.”

“We knew when we walked in that this was going to be it. From day 1 I felt like we were in the best hands and we absolutely were, Stonebridge was a literal dream. Our wedding day was best day and night ever, and Stonebridge was to thank for that and more. Everything was beyond perfect. The venue is beautiful from its floor to ceiling windows in the reception room, to big bar in the cocktail hour room, and huge and stunning bridal suite. We had 262 attend and with utilizing inside and outside for cocktail hour we all fit comfortably. Not crowded at all once they open the reception room up. The grounds are gorgeous with a well-manicured green, trees, flowers, bridge for first look and waterfall. The way they set up all of our signs, Jenga guest book, memory table, escort cards, cigar bar, other photos and decor was better than I even imagined. The food was AMAZING. Cocktail hour stations, pass-arounds, salads, main courses were delicious and had gotten great feedback even from foodie guests. There is also sooo much to choose from. We received so many compliments from guests about how good everything was. Just have to say again we had some VERY critical foodie guests and literally everyone loved it. From the very start, Diana, our event coordinator was a GEM to work with. Never pushy and always honest throughout the process, responsive and patient with me especially two weeks leading up to the wedding when I had questions multiple times a day. Terrance, the maitre’d, is THE BEST. He ran the wedding like clockwork even with our large amount of guests we were on schedule from morning until the end. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you, on schedule, and that your drink and plates are never empty, pulling us away to have a moment to ourselves or wherever we needed to be at multiple points of the evening. He makes you feel that your wedding is as special and important to him as it is to you. My bridal attendants were also lovely. I don’t like when people are doing stuff for me in general and I’m an easy going do things myself person but they were literally there every second for anything I needed. Stonebridge is ON IT ALL, they know EXACTLY what they are doing! I would choose Stonebridge again and again and will continue to rave and beam about them 5ever.”

Houston, TX

Just south of Spring, where the pines thicken and the city noise finally falls away, Ashton Gardens North Houston makes its case as a glass chapel wedding venue built entirely around light. The open-beam stone chapel is walled in windows, so the surrounding forest becomes part of the ceremony rather than a backdrop glimpsed from inside. Chandeliers carry that glow into the reception, where a winding staircase gives every entrance a little theater. Outside, garden-lined paths wander past a quiet stream and a vine-draped courtyard, offering more photo backdrops than a single afternoon can use. Generously proportioned getting ready suites mean the morning-of unfolds without anyone feeling rushed or cramped. It's a glass chapel wedding venue built for couples who want serenity and scale in equal measure, with room for up to 200 guests to settle in and stay a while.

“Our 100 person wedding at Paradigm Gardens in April of 2024 was perfect. For starters, their Private Events Director Karen is unparalleled. Communication was clear and consistent from the very beginning, and we never felt like they were trying to upsell us. As two more laid-back brides, she made sure we didn't overlook any important details. If your food is the most important aspect of your wedding, stop reading this and call Paradigm Gardens to book now. Our budget was fairly limited, but Chef Pat over at Karibu Kitchen (Paradigm Gardens' Catering) made the most of every dollar we spent. The food and bar packages were, hands down, the best we encountered at any venue in New Orleans. We had so much fun designing our custom menu with Chef Pat, and the tasting at Tchoup yard was one of our favorite parts of the planning process. Our family and friends still tell us it was the best food they've ever had at any wedding. The team even went out of their way to make sure our bar included our favorite brand of pickle vodka shots which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. The location in Central City was perfect. It allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner downtown, and also take our pre-ceremony pictures at Audubon Park without requiring much driving time to and from the venue. The lush garden was more than we could have asked for as a backdrop. We said our vows in a short ceremony then watched the sunset over cocktails and dinner. The jasmine was in full bloom which made for awesome photos. The goats were a big hit with our wedding guests and the outdoor kitchen acted as a sort of fiery centerpiece to the whole evening. We had a local DJ playing New Orleans bounce and spent the majority of the night on the dance floor under the string lights. Without a massive budget, we anticipated having to compromise on a lot of aspects to be able to afford a wedding in New Orleans, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. We will forever be grateful to the folks at Paradigm Gardens for giving us the wedding of our dreams.”

“We highly recommend The Seville Chicagoland as a wedding venue. Desire was amazing to work with - she communicated promptly and professionally every step of the way. The space itself is elegant without the high price tag, giving great value. On our big day, The Seville really came through for us. When some out-of-town guests couldn't make the rehearsal, Desire allowed us to cancel without penalty. She also helped with DJ equipment rental when our original rental fell through. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or coordinator for our special day. The Seville handled all the little details and last minute changes beautifully. We're so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding day stress-free and magical.”

“I feel so blessed and grateful to have found Brookledge for my wedding day. Helen, Brooke, and the rest of the Brookledge team are simply the best. We chose Brookledge after a FaceTime call with Helen. We live 5 hours away and wanted to make a decision. After speaking with Helen, we just knew that this was the place. We were so supposed through the planning stage. They recommended excellent vendors. Our guests loved the food! We chose the wedding weekend option where you could stay Friday to Sunday and had friends and family members stay on the property as well. My husband and I decided to add on Thursday night, and I would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Brookledge! Being the space early was so helpful. Brookledge really is a gem and if you have the opportunity to get married there, do it! You won’t regret it.”

“Dorcas was great from the very beginning. She made everything so easy and helped put the whole package together with the catering, bartender, photographer, DJ, and décor. Everyone did an amazing job. The food was delicious, the bartender was fun, the DJ played exactly what we wanted, and Susan made everything look beautiful. It was all set up just the way I pictured it. I felt like I was probably a little difficult because I knew exactly what I wanted and was very straightforward, but Dorcas never made me feel that way. She was always kind and reassuring. The pricing was very reasonable for everything that was included, and I honestly didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day. Everything went smoothly, and we had such a great time. I would definitely recommend them!”

“Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.”

“We recently had our wedding at 10 South on Friday, November 1st, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From our initial tour to the day of the wedding and every meeting in between, the team at 10 South, especially Lindsay (Venue Manager) and Audrey (Event Manager), went above and beyond to make our day seamless. About wedding venues

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
