“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

“Our event went absolutely flawlessly with Billy and Jason at the helm. He was not only our DJ, but our lighting guy, pyrotechnics (with the cold sparks), MC, and day-of coordinator. I mean… Can you really ask for more? If we would have hired different vendors for all of those roles we’d have pay 4x the price. So for their Diamond package it was an absolute steal. Pricing aside, they absolutely slayed the dance floor and Billy was hysterical with jokes and fun games throughout the evening. Why are you even still reading? You should have already booked them!!”

“Zacch from Paradox Productions was the the best choice we could have made for our wedding entertainment. His expertise in event conduction and his ability to smile in the face of chaos kept everything organized and on track, even when the weather threw us a curveball. He helped redirect guests seamlessly when we had to adjust the schedule due to high winds and rain. His musical selections were spot on, providing great background music during dinner and keeping guests engaged on the dancefloor with an intuitive mix of songs we requested along with well-timed classics. Zacch went above and beyond by playing music late into the night after being informed by the camp hosts that he would need to spend the night at the venue due to an atmospheric river and downed trees blocking the road. He kept the party going as late as he could and afterwards spent time chatting fireside as the night wound down. Zacch has a charisma that keeps even your most ornery guests engaged and well behaved. “We had a Latino and Indian fusion wedding and our guests were so happy with the music. We were initially worried about how we would fuse both of our cultures and how we would keep both sides of the family entertained and on the dance floor but Rafael and Richard did an amazing job! It started with a 1hr sync before the wedding where we explained to them the vibe and the small little details that we wanted to include. Bryan and Rafael were so knowledgeable and so open to our suggestions and needs. The day of they showed up on time and had everything ready and set up on time. When our timeline got pushed a little they were super accommodating and helped keep the guests entertained. My mom was raving about the song choices that Rafael included. “The Afterparty Band and their Duo was one of the best choices we made for our wedding of 100 people! The Duo also set a great ambiance to our outdoor Cocktail Hour. Now, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing and singing along with the band all night. We loved the visuals with lighting, dancing, costume changes, and props. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. They are a wonderful band for any kind of event, large or small, that you want your guests dancing all night with happy hearts.”

From start to finish, communication was effortless and always on point. He even assisted us with setting up and dialing in the sound system. Now on to the important stuff... Cello Joe's performance bridged the spectrum of family and friends present for our wedding. “Brian was really easy to work with, especially because of the planning app he provided. It was easy and even fun to slowly build our timeline and playlist suggestions into the app, and capture every detail, from wedding party name pronunciations to the timestamp to start our recessional song. Brian’s experience was really invaluable to us, and he MC’d the event expertly. The music went off without a hitch and was everything we imagined. “ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We hired AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID for our wedding and they were one of the best decisions we made. From the start, they were so easy to communicate with, incredibly professional, and genuinely attentive to our family’s needs.
