Aloha! I'm Roman. I've been living on the magical island of O'ahu since I came to UH Manoa in 2009 for my Economics Degree. I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

Aloha, I'm Joshua Nakazawa, Hawaii Symphony Orchestra cellist and owner of Mana Music Hawaii. Over the past 5 years, Mana Music has accomplished many things such as winning Album of the Year in the 2021 Hoku awards, becoming the trusted partners to the top venues in Hawaii, and performing on stage with some of Hawaii’s most famous stars! I have been a singer/ musician for most of my life. I have a deep passion and love for music that is displayed in every event that I play. I emcee most of my events because that is what I am well known for in Hawaii. I am not over the top but I deliver a smooth, non-intrusive show and program for guests to enjoy. I don’t like to get in the way of the “Life of the Party” I encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and allow them to experience their fun with friends and family. Being in public and having fun with others is not always an easy task for some. But if I can encourage “just one person” to be themselves and don’t worry about what people think about their dancing I feel I did more than make a person dance. I feel like I built their self-esteem.
