“Lauren jumped in to save my wedding at the last minute and was a hero the whole time! The vendor we had originally planned to use for our mothers and the wedding party's hair & makeup raised all of their prices on us at the last minute and Lauren agreed to price match. She was kind and helpful every step of the way, going with the flow, adjusting timing as needed, and providing a sense of calm in the getting ready room. Somebody asked to borrow a diffuser and she was happy to provide without charging any extra. I needed a lipstick touchup after my artist had left and she was happy to assist. We found out day of that our wedding date was her birthday and she had still agreed to work with us, celebrate us, and match the prices we needed that day! She was kind, supportive, generous, and very good at what she did all day long and we're so grateful to have found her for our special day!”

“Shimmer for You was great to work with! I did a trial with Jaime a few months ahead of time, and then adjusted things as needed day of. Jaime and her team did hair and makeup for me, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. Everything went smoothly, and we were done on time. My hair looked bigger than I wanted day of, and we had enough time for Jaime to adjust it so it looked exactly how I wanted. I had worried that wedding makeup and lashes would look to heavy on me since I don’t usually wear much makeup (and I saw some full glam photos on the Zola profile), but the soft look Jaime did for me was perfect- I still looked like myself, but shimmery. I was also worried about foundation and lip colors looking too orange or yellow on me since I’m very fair with cool/pink undertones, but the color match was perfect, and we tried out a few lip colors at the trial to get it perfect. “My experience working with Katherine was AMAZING! She did hair for me and my bridal party (total 6 people), and everyone’s hair was absolute perfection! My wedding was in central Jersey, and I looked long and hard for a hair stylist that fit my vision. The moment I saw Katherine’s work, I knew it was perfect and I was willing to pay a travel fee to book her services. From day 1, Katherine was incredibly easy to work with and so friendly! For my bridal preview appointment, I was torn between wearing my hair up vs down. Katherine was so incredibly patient and worked with me on four different preview hairstyles to figure out what worked best and fit with my vision. Between the trial and the wedding, she was always available to answer any questions I had (which was many) and followed up multiple times to confirm the details of the wedding day and the bridal party. She also went out of her way to coordinate with my makeup artist to make sure everyone was on the same page about the getting ready timeline. On the day of the wedding, Katherine was an absolute joy to work with! She has such a calming yet fun presence, and working with her made getting ready in the morning all the better. Each of us had different hair textures and very specific/unique requests (ear coverage, more volume, less volume), but she worked her magic and managed to execute everyone’s vision flawlessly! Everyone’s hair looked SO good, better than any of us could’ve imagined. We finished getting ready ahead of schedule, and everyone’s hair stayed perfectly in place through the entire night. As the bride, it was so helpful being able to trust that my hair would not budge, despite a long veil and a night of dancing. “I had my makeup done by someone from Daneene Jensen & Associates when I was in my friend’s wedding in 2024, so decided to go with who I trusted for my own wedding! Sol did my friend’s bridal makeup and she had an opening on my wedding day. She worked so quickly on the makeup we fit in me (the bride), my mom, four bridesmaids, and three family members within about 8am-11:30. She ROCKS the effortless, natural look! Let me just say my eyelashes were going NOWHERE on my wedding day, haha! And she just used falsies so no matter how much I cried I didn’t have to worry about mascara running! My trial was great, too—I scheduled it in the late morning and had my engagement pictures in the evening.”

“Cindy and her team did such a great job with me and my girls! My makeup stayed on the entire night and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I don’t usually wear too much makeup/foundation so she made sure it didn’t feel caked on. We had a slight adjustment from my trial to the wedding day and she followed my changes perfectly. “I recently got married in Philadelphia. I found Bella Angel through The Knot when looking for hair and makeup. I live in NJ so their locations in both Cherry Hill and Philadelphia were very convenient. I had a trial about 3 months prior to my wedding with Michele and it went great. The makeup was perfect and I kept it the same for my wedding day. I ended up deciding pretty last minute to change my hair up and showed her a new picture on my actual wedding day and she did amazing. Ten of us got our hair and makeup done - me, my mom and mother-in-law, my 6 bridesmaids, and my sister-in-law. Everyone could not have been happier with their hair and makeup. It stayed perfect throughout the day and night. We worked with Michele, Bobbi, and Tiffany and they were fantastic. Highly recommend!”
