"Nikki J," the Hairstylist & Makeup "Con Artist." Can't believe this fraudster actually waited until 9:20 p.m. on May 16, 2025, less than 14 hours before her arrival at our home to tell my "Bride to Be" that she needed to bring her ill and in need of medical treatment, adolescent child and a Babysitter to our home while she did my Wife's hair and makeup. My apologies for the run-on sentence, but this is the only way to describe this creep of a Mother who would put her child's health at risk to travel 60 plus miles for a few dollars. So of course, we told her NO WAY were we going to allow her to bring her ill child and his Baby Sitter to our home, while "Nikki J" gave her child breathing treatments between doing my Wife's hair and makeup.  You just can't make this stuff up! Sorry, but there was nothing in the contract that even remotely indicated:  "BEWARE, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO BRING AN ILL ADOLESCENT CHILD, A BABY SITTER AND MY CHILD MAY REQUIRE MEDICAL TREATMENTS, WHICH MAY CAUSE INTERMITTENT INTERRUPTIONS DURING THE HAIR STYLING AND MAKEUP ARTISTRY PROCESSS." Nikki J Artistry, LLC/Andrea Jones Breached the Contract. As Women/Brides to Be/Fiance's/Wives, I'm sure you can imagine how emotionally unsettling this was for my Wife to go through less than 16 hours before our Wedding. Seeing my wife like this was absolute torture to see her emotionally distressed, confused, pained, nervous, uncertain, saddened and nearly defeated that her Wedding Day was going to be ruined. However, my network is deep, and our belief in God had HIM show up for Us. So we Thank God for being able to secure a Mother/Daughter Hair Stylist & Makeup Duo Team before midnight on the eve of our wedding.  And As far as "Nikki J Makeup Artistry LLC/Andrea Jones" goes... GHETTO, GHETTO, GHETTO. If I could give this woman less than zero stars, I would.  Hire this girl at your own risk. FYI: Small Claims and Breach of Contract matters can be pursued in Common Pleas Courts with a Statute of Limitations of 2-4 years. We Got Receipts. With purposeful intent,  A Ticked Off

Rosalind and Reginald, At this point, your repeated attempts to rewrite the truth and bypass platform guidelines by combining your reviews into one are not only deceptive but deeply concerning. This isn’t a review. It’s a targeted effort to harm the reputation of a woman-owned, Black-owned business over a situation that was outside of anyone’s control—despite being handled with consideration, professionalism and care. Rosalind, your character has revealed itself clearly throughout this process. You appeared cordial and cooperative—until something unexpected happened and you were asked to work through it with flexibility. Rather than allow me to follow through with a qualified artist, as promised in your signed contract, you made a rash decision to cancel and twist facts about the situation, including my child. That was your choice. A difficult moment does not justify blaming someone else for the outcome of a decision you made under emotional distress. And to now frame that as abandonment is not only dishonest—it’s manipulative. No professional artist ever wants to disappoint a bride, especially not on her wedding day. That’s why I took proactive steps to resolve the situation immediately, securing a skilled artist to arrive at the scheduled time. You chose to reject that offer and shut down all communication. You then demanded a full refund—including for services you already received—which you were granted according to the guidelines of the contract. Yet here you are, still posting across multiple platforms, twisting facts and calling names. Reginald, you were never involved in any part of this process, and yet you've chosen to publicly insult a woman, a business owner and a mother you’ve never spoken to. You’ve called me names, attacked my parenting, and co-signed a distorted narrative without verifying a single fact. That's not "Godly" as you are claiming, it's recklessness. You’ve both turned a challenging moment into a vendetta, when what was truly needed was compassion and maturity. The bottom line is this: You were not abandoned. You were given an option. You declined. You were not deceived. You were informed every step of the way. You were not mistreated. You were impatient and unwilling to adapt. At this point, your campaign is not about accountability—it’s about retaliation. And that is not what this platform is for. I respectfully ask that you stop this pattern of online harassment. Life happens. Emergencies arise. But what defines us is how we respond. I responded with transparency, solutions, and professionalism. You responded with defamation, insults, and public character assassination attempts. Please move forward with your life and leave me and my business alone or legal action will be taken to protect my name and business. Thank you.
  • BRIDES BEWARE

“Brides to be”…. BEWARE! I booked with Nikki J back last year in October of 2024 to provide services for soft glam and hair for my wedding on May 17th, 2025. The night before my wedding after 9 pm, she contacted me to tell me that her son had a medical condition that required around the clock treatment and told me that she needed to bring him to my home. On top of that she stated that she also needed to bring a BABYSITTER to my home because she didn’t have childcare otherwise. 2-3 days prior to my wedding she randomly asked if I had a dog. I didn’t think anything of it but once this was all taking place, she knew that her child’s medical condition wasn’t up to par. She KNEW this and should have let me know in order to make arrangements to have another artist hired if she could not keep her end of the contract. She wanted to set me up where I had no other choice except to have her sick child and a babysitter in my home while she performed hair and makeup services! ABSOLUTELY NOT! This would have been a bad situation had her child gotten sicker in my home! What type of mother would think to bring her child to a strangers home! Major liability for himself and my husband! It makes me wonder if she has done this before. I told NIkki that she needed to take care of her child and refund me all of my money for breaking the contract. I cannot tell you the grief and heartbreak I felt hours before my big day! Crying in my husband’s arms while he tried to console me! It was a complete nightmare! Any bride or young lady for prom that is looking for makeup and hair services from Nikki I’m urging you to BEWARE!!!!! You could be forced to have random people in your home that aren’t providing services you requested OR end up trying to find a replacement in the last hours before your important day!

Rosalind, While I typically let my work and countless five-star reviews speak for themselves, your repeated attempts to defame my name and business can no longer go unchecked. It’s deeply disheartening to see a grown woman—newly into her marriage—still investing this much time and energy into attacking a small Black-Owned, Woman-Owned business over a situation entirely outside of my control. Let’s be clear: I did not "set you up" or breach our agreement. My son experienced a sudden, serious asthma episode the night before your wedding. As a mother and a business owner, I did what any responsible, caring professional would do—I informed you of the situation in real time and began offering solutions in accordance with our signed contract, which you received and agreed to months in advance. That contract clearly states that in the event of an emergency, a qualified and trusted associate would be sent in my place—and one was secured. The reference to me “bringing my son and a babysitter to your home” was never a finalized plan—it was a suggested option I shared transparently, because I didn’t want to leave you without a solution. You never allowed the conversation to continue or resolve. Instead, you immediately escalated, refused any resolution, and canceled ON YOUR OWN—then demanded a full refund, including for services already rendered like your bridal preview and outlined administrative fees. Let’s be honest here: this wasn’t about any lack of care or professionalism on my part. This was a moment where you could’ve shown compassion and understanding, and instead chose retaliation, hatred and public shaming. Dragging your husband into your personal vendetta to post multiple coordinated reviews on various platforms of mine, making false claims, name calling and calling my parenting into question is not only uncalled for—it’s harassment. Every bride deserves peace and joy leading up to her wedding and that is what I provided you. I am sorry my son went into respiratory distress and it impacted your wedding . I truly am. It was clearly not my intention and clearly outside of my control . As a service provider and a mother these are situations I dread and never want to happen. And yet here I am—days, weeks, and now months later—still being harassed for something that was resolved as best as possible under the unforseen circumstances. What you are doing now is not a warning to other brides—it’s a character assassination attempt built on a one-sided, emotionally charged narrative that twists truth and lacks maturity. How can you mention God in any of your "reviews," claiming He helped you? Where is Christ in how you are behaving now?? I'm frankly just appalled. Any sound-minded person reading this can see the vitriol and vindictiveness behind your words and actions. I too have receipts, I have a contract, and I also have boundaries. If your harassment continues, I will be forced to pursue legal action to protect myself and my business. At the end of the day, you made your choice—to cancel your services, ignore the resolution offered, and now to twist the truth in hopes of damaging me and my business. But your behavior says far more about your character than it ever could about mine. May you find peace in your new life and redirect your energy to where it belongs.

Nikki is amazing! She has a talent for enhancing your natural beauty and not overdoing the make-up. My makeup lasted through a 100 F day and so did my bridesmaids. She did my hair on the wedding day with this elegant updo. She was easy to work with and was very flexible. 1000/10 would highly recommend!

It took me some time to find a POC for me and my bridal party. During my trial, Nikki asked all the questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. Nikki did a great job! Even with the snow, she was on time and in good spirits. Makeup lasted all day and night.
