I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved. We LOVED having our wedding at Machines with Magnets. Everything about the night and the planning was absolutely seamless. We got compliments all night (and still to this day) that the drinks were the best our guests had ever had. The cocktails are that of a thoughtful bar program — not just a wedding venue. The same goes for furniture, art, and ambience. If you're looking to avoid the generic wedding venue vibe, look no further. Machines with Magnets is the type of place you want to go grab a drink or hang out for the night — not a large wedding venue created to churn and burn events. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors from all over, rather than having to stick to a small list. There's also a beautiful apartment attached to the venue that we chose to add-on, which was a great thing to have to get ready and store our belongings. Would highly recommend using the projector!

We looked at a number of potential sites to hold the NASG annual convention in 2025. The Holiday Inn, Norwich was perfect, very nice rooms, a good amount of function space and excellent staff that did everything possible to insure that our event was fantastic!

The venue itself was absolutely beautiful - there was no need to do anything crazy to decorate, as the space was so elegant and well-designed already. All of our decorations and centerpieces were dropped off ahead of time, and the staff arranged everything so beautifully. Our guests loved the open bar and the overall flow of the event. Anastasia and the team were nothing short of amazing. They're not just a venue that hosts weddings, but served as a coordinated team coaching and guiding us as a couple through every step of the process. Anastasia worked with us on every detail - right down to how the chef (shout out to him!) prepped our food Caribbean style. We also realized that relationships with other vendors were critical - which helped smooth out our process when coordinating across multiple vendors. Choosing LeBaron Hills Country Club as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. We truly could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, Mikayla was absolutely amazing to work with. She made the planning process feel effortless and stress-free. Her organization, warmth, and attention to detail immediately put us at ease. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, and we always felt like we were in good hands. Mikayla truly went above and beyond to ensure that our vision came to life, and we are so grateful for her steady guidance along the way. On the day of the wedding, Dianne and intern Julia stepped in and did an incredible job managing the flow and making sure everything ran smoothly. They were calm, professional, and totally on top of every little detail—which meant we got to fully relax and enjoy the day. From coordinating vendors to making sure we were where we needed to be (and making sure we were able to enjoy the amazing food from Chef Maxwell Smith), they made the whole day feel seamless and joyful. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the venue, the service, and the overall experience. We truly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

From the moment we started planning our wedding at Powder Hollow Brewery, the team there was incredibly attentive to our every need. Kenzie, the event coordinator, was super accommodating and always checked in to see if we needed anything. The venue was also very affordable, and they provided all the tables, chairs, and buffet supplies we needed, which made the event planning process much smoother. In fact, they even let us come in the night before to decorate the space, which was a huge help on the day of the event. The bridal shower we held there was fabulous, and there were several other events like music and a book fair happening during our party, but Kenzie handled it all beautifully and we and our guests had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better event venue!
