Yes! Caterers must be licensed and insured, and all food must be cooked prior to arrival at MWM and held at safe serving temperature. We have refrigeration available for up to two standard, three-layer 8-9” cakes. We support and encourage alternative catering options such as food trucks.

We allow: Balloons Cut flowers, some types of floral installations Tea light/votive candles in non-flammable holders Flameless candles Wayfinding signage at front and/or back Low-impact, wall-hung decorations (must be affixed with low tack tape/command hooks) Tabletop decorations on the patio We prohibit: Confetti, glitter, rice, and flower petals Confetti-filled balloons (will be confiscated) Nails/screws/tacks in the walls, floor, ceiling Affixing to the exterior of the building Any object affecting ingress/egress Pillar and taper candles Fog/smoke machines Moving furniture without prior arrangement Non-tabletop decorations on patio

Events are pack-in, pack-out, and the space should be left as you found it. One hour free breakdown time is included in our fee (excludes rental items, which are picked up the following day). MWM provides standard cleaning and reasonable trash removal.

All alcoholic beverages must be purchased by MWM and supplied by its bar, per Rhode Island law. No outside alcohol is permitted, including as party favors or centerpieces. Outside non-alcoholic beverages are strongly discouraged (with the exception of hot drinks such as coffee / tea), and must be cleared with the venue in advance.

Yes, free parking is available (on a first come basis) in the back municipal lot. Additional free street and lot parking is available in the vicinity.

Yes, both restrooms and the front entrance are accessible.
