The Bristol Harbor Room is a charming 1,600 sq ft space in the historic 200-year-old DeWolf building, just steps away from our Waterfront Pavilion & Inn. Stone walls and exposed beam ceilings, it radiates classic New England charm with a cozy, timeless feel. This rustic space is perfect for guests to mingle, enjoy cocktails, and relax before the celebration begins. Blending coastal colonial history with modern celebration, it sets an unforgettable, welcoming tone for your special day.

    Bristol Harbor Inn

    We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From our first tour to the last dance, the entire experience was exceptional. Rachelle and Maddie were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. The venue itself was beautiful, well maintained, and provided the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the atmosphere and the gorgeous views!

    Wedding Reception

    From the moment we toured Bristol Harbor Inn, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. The tent is absolutely stunning, impeccably maintained, and provides the perfect backdrop for a night of dancing, good conversation, and fun! The staff was exceptional throughout the entire planning process and on day of, they went above and beyond to ensure they remained present throughout the evening. A dream!

    Wedding of our Dreams

    We had a fairytale wedding and our wedding day was truly a dream from start to finish.... if we could do it all over again, we would. We are so appreciative for Rachelle and all of the staff at Bristol Harbor Inn. They truly made our vision come to life and everything went beyond smooth during our wedding weekend. The pavilion tent was an absolutely stunning wedding venue and we are so happy we chose to have our wedding here in a town that means so much to us.

    Wonderful

    I had a wonderful experience here. Me and my husband loved the water view and the hotel being connected to the venue (no transportation needed). We did not experience any issues. They gave us heat complimentary when originally there was a possible charge.

Yes, Bristol Harbor Inn and Waterfront Pavilion offer on-site parking for all events. Managed parking is included in your venue rental from May through October at no additional cost. The Thames Street Parking Lot is conveniently located across the street from the inn, making it easily accessible for your guests. We provide clear signage to direct attendees to the designated parking area.
Our peak wedding season runs from May to October, when our beautiful Sperry Tent is set up and ready to host events. During these months, we offer the full outdoor waterfront experience that makes Bristol Harbor Inn such a special venue. August through October are consistently our busiest months of the year. The waterfront views combined with classic New England charm create an unforgettable setting for celebrations during this time. Special venue rental rates are available before the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and after the Monday of Labor Day Weekend.
Our off-peak season runs from November through April, when our Sperry Tent is taken down. We still welcome intimate celebrations with smaller capacities in our charming Bristol Harbor Room. The Bristol Harbor Room is available for cocktail hours and receptions only during the off-peak season. Please note that we do not offer on-site ceremonies from November through April.
We work primarily with our partnered caterer, Pranzi Catering & Event Rentals, who handles all food and beverage service. If approved by Pranzi Catering, any outside alcohol would need to be coordinated directly with Pranzi to ensure smooth service throughout your event. They'll work with you to create a bar experience that fits your preferences and budget.
Yes, Bristol Harbor Inn offers accessible facilities to ensure all guests can comfortably enjoy your celebration. An elevator is available to the Bristol Harbor Room, where cocktail hour is hosted. We also have ramp access to the Waterfront Pavilion, providing convenient access to both ceremony and reception spaces.
Yes, we do require event insurance as part of your venue agreement. This is a standard requirement to protect both you and the venue during your celebration. We're happy to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
With your venue rental at Bristol Harbor Inn, we provide a comprehensive package to make your day seamless. This includes tables and elegant white Chiavari chairs for your guests, as well as managed parking across the street. You'll have access to the event lounge from 10am to 11pm on your wedding day. All taxes and fees are included in your rental price, with no additional ceremony fee applied. Restroom access is available in the cocktail hour space and the Inn Lobby for your convenience. We also offer a courtesy guestroom block of up to 20 rooms to comfortably accommodate your guests (guaranteed 11+ months before the wedding).
