Starting with our planning call it was clear we were in great hands with Kelton, who helped us figure out the finer details of our plan, and made a couple of recommendations that helped us make the day even better. On the day he showed up early to make sure things were set up properly (something our venue and planner were particularly appreciative of), ran the mics for the ceremony which went off without a hitch (except for the obligatory sirens during our vows), and played amazing music all night long. We had assembled hours and hours of playlists — it felt like Kelton intuited all of the important songs and played them at the right time — everything was flawless. Most importantly, it felt like Kelton loved being a part of our day — chatting with us and the other guests and vendors, taking photos and videos. He kept the good vibes going all night. “Where to start... Michael Kane was so much more than we expected, and we couldn't be happier. I was very picky about all of our vendors, and I'll admit I was nervous about our DJ as well. Would he understand our unique music taste? Would he make sure our guests could hear our vows during the ceremony? Would he be able to read the vibe of the room and maintain a good flow of music to keep all of our guests happy? Well, he went above and beyond in every respect. While my wife and I were nervous wrecks for the entire day, he was there as a kind and supporting presence to make sure we had nothing to worry about. Before the ceremony even started, he gave our rookie Officiant some sage advice that helped calm her nerves. For the ceremony he brought his own (personal) pro speaker system that made sure every guest could hear every word from our officiant and us. He understood our music taste so perfectly that I don't think my wife left the dance floor once. When we found out (mid-reception!) that we could play music beyond the original ending time, he worked with us to extend his schedule to give us the perfect ending to the night. He did ALL THAT while still finding time to take some awesome candid shots of us (that's me, clearly enjoying the song, in the attached picture). Ultimately, DJ Michael Kane handled his job perfectly with professionalism, charisma, kindness, and swagger. I've honestly never been happier to write a review.”

“Booking Carinvalè for our wedding was the absolute BEST decision we could have ever made!! Our venue had recommended BVTLive if we were interested in booking a band, so we watched one of their live showcases streamed live on YouTube. My husband and I enjoyed all of the bands that played, but one really stuck out to us, Carnivalè! We booked Carnivalè without even seeing them in person, that’s how good they are! Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.

“I was so nervous about the DJ portion of our wedding because it seems to be something that a lot of couples end up unsatisfied with, and I'm such a music junkie. But Schaffer delivered all around when it came to communication, organization, and overall bringing the party. Chris, the owner, walked us through everything really early on, and they have a system for filling out every single thing you could want from first dance songs (and how long you want them to last) to do not plays and must plays. I got to take my time perfecting this and it made me feel so good about everything. Big Mike, who was our wedding DJ, came with a HEALTHY dose of good vibes. He made me feel so comfortable and excited about how everything was going to go, he helped organize the wedding party entrances, and he made everyone feel welcomed and warm throughout the night. The dance floor was filled! My favorite thing he did was take note of when I finally got to the dance floor, and he played all of my "must play" songs so I had a chance to dance to all of my favorites. That was so thoughtful and it was such a delight to get to dance to these songs after such a crazy day, I got to totally let loose. Cannot recommend these guys enough! So professional, so chill, such a joy to work with. I hope I see them again at a wedding soon!”

“Eclectic Entertainment was fantastic to work with for our wedding! After the initial phone call, they set up the entire timeline and music on a convenient online portal, which I really appreciated. The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! He spent extra time making sure we were posed well and I cannot wait to see the photos! Eclectic Events truly made our special day even more memorable.
