Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.”

“Cannot say enough of the best things about Randall, and have already recommended him to wedding guests who have asked for him! We selected Randall after reviewing dozens of different photographers, we were extremely picky and looking for someone who matched our attention to detail, but had the artistic and empathetic sense to capture the best moments. The quality and style of his images stood out from the crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s natural and sophisticated. Randall’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were looking for. After meeting with him a couple times over the phone, it was obvious we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with Randall shows through in the final product. We are generally not seeking “cheesy photo moments” and have a tendency to strike a pose when there’s a camera. Randall was not only our photographer, but acted as our wedding day planner and manager, directing other vendors and even the venue staff itself. I do NOT envy Randall’s job. He had to deal with all our lofty expectations, direct the other vendors and venue staff, manage the bride and groom family dynamics, deal with a wedding party that was enjoying the preparation process, and found key and natural moments with all the most important people in our lives.
