I am originally from Richardson, Texas and began playing violin at the age of eight after being inspired by a concert with a solo violinist on TV (many thanks, Mom, for getting me that first violin!) I continued to study classical music throughout most of my school and college years. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song.
