Hello! It's so nice to meet you :) I'm a small town girl who moved to the big city in 2010 after graduating with my B.F.A. in Photography from SCAD. Once I got to NYC I started working for Saks and Macy's in the photo department creating beautiful fashion work with a great group of talented people. As the lead singer for Boston based band Living Syndication, he was used to being on the other side of the lens but was always fascinated with how and what made a picture or video speak to the viewer. Before I was a photographer, I grew up in the wedding industry. Spending my summers surrounded by tulle, sewing machines, and brides-to-be. Long Island has been my home my whole my life and I’m always reminded that I’m never to far from the beach and fall is the best weather. I went to college at Stony Brook University studying business and marketing and keeping photography as my hobby. I chose to name my company Papillon Photography, Papillon in French means butterfly’s. Butterfly’s are significant to most and when I shoot couples, families, product or I’m behind the scenes editing the images are being transformed into something beautiful.

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!
