“McKenzie was everything I could have asked for in a photographer. I spent a lot of time looking through photographers in the area, as having nice photos to look back on was super important to me. We don't live near where our venue was, so I was a bit nervous about not being able to meet the vendors ahead of time, but this was not a problem at all. McKenzie was very communicative and video called me for our meetings, was up front about the costs and payments, and honestly just so so sweet. I genuinely felt like she was just as excited about my wedding as I was. Her positive attitude was so reassuring and I knew right away that we made the right choice.
On our wedding day, she gave great direction for posing, which was super helpful as our bridal party (bride & groom included) were not very experienced working with a professional photographer. I have a pretty big blended family, and McKenzie was so helpful organizing everybody and making sure everyone looked their best for photos (even making it work when some family members made things complicated).
We had a videographer as well that McKenzie had never worked with before, but you couldn't tell that they had just met that day, as the worked so well together. When people were at risk of interrupting our photos, she kindly asked them to move, and snuck me out for sunset photos during the ceremony with ease.
We had our "sneak peek" photos sent to us only a few days after the wedding which were so sweet to look at during our honeymoon. She even included a sweet card in our card box.
Not only is she talented, but she is kind, helpful, understanding, and it felt like I was working with a friend (despite basically being strangers). These are photos I will have to look back on to remember these moments forever and I am so grateful I chose the right photographer. I would highly recommend McKenzie to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, or a photographer for any service she offers.”
