“We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“My wedding was on 9/18/2026, and I am so BLOWN AWAY with how incredible everything was at Waterloo Village. Sindy was our coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond to meet all expectations during the planning stages and on the day of. Wedding venue and coordination: The grounds at Waterloo Village are absolutely beautiful. Granted, the weather was on our side, but one of the biggest deciding factors for us to go with Waterloo was their solid "rain plan" regarding the ceremony. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas were in different spaces but in very close proximity to each other, which really gave it an elevated feel. I had a few guests with mobility issues, but they were well taken care of by the venue staff because of the on-site golf cart transportation. Sindy and her assistant, Jordan, were incredible on the day of. So attentive to myself, the groom, the entire bridal party, and our parents and key family members. Sindy was punctual, easy to communicate with, and helped bring my whimsical wedding vision to life. Food and Drinks: Every one of my guests complimented the food and said it was some of the best they have ever had for a wedding. It was abundant and constantly flowing. The cocktails were incredible, and each cocktail matched its specific glassware, which was important to me. The desserts were also incredible, and we went with a funfetti cake, warm chocolate chip cookies (best I've ever had), and the mini gelato cones. There were so many things to choose from, and everything was fresh and amazing. My husband and I hope to be guests at a JAM Hospitality Group wedding to experience the entire event from a different perspective. Everything was great. 1000/10 would recommend Waterloo Village to any couple who wants a whimsical, magical, forest vibe wedding with amazing staff, food, and drinks. One of the absolute happiest days of our lives!”

“We got married at The Mansion on Aug 10th and there are insufficient characters in this review box to capture our gratitude for what an impeccable place this was to get married. We initially chose the venue for ease of the location (we live a few blocks away). I hoped the food would be good, since we couldn't do a tasting, and just trusted it would all work out. THESE PEOPLE BLEW ME AWAY. The staff is awesome, from the Matre D, to the Bridal Attendant, to all the ways Jim and Nancy helped us tend to ever detail of the event, it was the most perfect day. The food was so delicious. Our guests are still talking to us about it weeks later. The cocktail hour was incredible. The main course was the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh, and so delicious. My only regret of my wedding was that I didn't eat more than just a few bites of everything. I woke up the next morning craving the rest of my filet mignon, lol. We went with the "minimum" of everything included because we were on a budget, but it was all so abundant, generous and tasty. Even the dessert platters that came with the meal were amazingly delicious. The space itself is luxurious and beautiful. We had the whole venue to ourselves and the whole thing was just magical.”

The venue itself is breathtaking—elegantly designed with gorgeous views, and it has an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Especially when we had a lot of challenges finding a venue for an Indian wedding to fit all your needs! “Wish I could give this family-owned venue 100 stars. My husband and I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful, more seamless, more special day than the one we had for our mid-September wedding. It was the first venue we saw, and the only one we needed to. We live in Manhattan, and it with transportation coordinated on everyone's behalf, it was easy to get people to and from the city to the venue. Every step of the way during the planning process was organized, easy, and most importantly, FUN, all thanks to the team's creativity, hospitality, and kindness. Crossed Keys acted as true partners that delivered on every sense of the vision. In florist Jess & team are phenomenal, as was the food during cocktail hour & dinner. The service was absolutely fantastic - we did not hire a wedding planner and had no trouble working with the venue directly to coordinate ourselves. Wish we could do it all over again!!!!”

Farrell is so professional and knowledgeable and clearly loves the job she does. The venue itself was spotless. It is stunningly beautiful to the point where I didn't have to worry much about decorations or spend big money on centerpieces. Small subtle decor along with the beauty of the Birchwood made for a stunning wedding day. The food was beyond amazing. We did not want a sit down formal dinner so Farrell helped us create a cocktail hour type situation with various carving stations and food perfectly placed around the room. There were so many options for everyone, even those with special diets. They were able to accommodate everyone and their needs.”

We, alongside all our guests, felt so much love and attention from the staff that they felt like family by the end of the night. We cannot thank you all enough for the work you do and how meant for your roles each of you are. The venue itself is stunning, with an updated and picturesque lakeside setting that felt so inclusive and special. We could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We came into wedding planning wanting an 'indoor/ outdoor' vibe and Rock Island delivered that in every way. The food was also some of the best wedding food we have seen/ tried (our guests would agree!) which is a true testament to the kitchen staff! Additionally, our bar staff did a phenomenal job with our signature cocktails and espresso martini bar. We hope to experience RILC as a guest some day! It's been almost a month and my husband and I talk about our wedding every day. Every family member and friend we talk to tell us it was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever been to. If we could relive the day over, there's not one thing we would change. Thank you Rock Island Lake Club for EVERYTHING. Would recommend to anyone looking for a NJ wedding venue.”

“The Madison Hotel was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was the one and stopped searching all together. It was our first venue we looked at, and our last. After we reached out, Joseph was very attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions promptly. The conservatory is absolutely stunning - it provided the outdoor feel we were originally looking for, like a garden, but with the security of a roof in case of weather mishaps which was definitely on our radar since it was a September wedding. Food was great, and there’s plenty of it! Our guests were blown away by the food and the beautiful, unique space, and the quality of service was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day. It was truly stress free since the wedding package included most of what you’d need. It is certainly a memory we will never forget. Looking at our professional photos, it really captured the beauty of it all.”

“Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.”

“The first thing we noticed about the Grain House was how utterly charming it was, shortly followed by how organized the wedding team was. We fell in love with the cozy, historic space and felt so well taken care of by Lea, the sales manager, and John, our maître d. They were responsive and answered every one of our million (sometimes crazy) questions. We were in disbelief just how much we were getting for the price we were paying, and felt supported during the entire planning process. When the day came, everything went off without a hitch...the servers were wonderful, our guests GUSHED about the food and space, and John was a total champ...our photographer even noted how on top of everything he was! The BEAUTIFUL outdoor space in addition to the dining area made it feel secluded, and truly like a fairytale (tented outdoor dancefloor!!). We could hardly believe that the GIANT suite where we stayed that night was included in our package! Days later, our guests continue to tell us that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. Ultimately, our wedding was the best day of our lives so far, and a huge part of that is the lovely team at the Grain House!”

“My husband and I got married at Bear Brook Valley this past weekend and it was absolutely PERFECT! Our experience with the Bear Brook team since we booked our date with them two years ago has been amazing. The renovations they completed last year are absolutely stunning. The boys absolutely loved getting ready in the new speakeasy lounge, the golf simulator was a huge hit! Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Our coordinator, Amanda was incredible! Not only did she walk me through the planning process (we did not hire an official wedding planner), but she responded promptly to all my questions via email and executed my entire vision the day of the wedding! Everything ran super smoothly. Our bridal and groom suite attendants, Amber and Cameron, were on top of everything the entire wedding day! Anytime we needed anything they were there. They were constantly making sure we had a drink in hand if we needed one, Amber helped me get a stain out of my dress, and they both graciously steamed all of the dresses and tuxes! Something we both absolutely love about Bear Brook is that their team makes you feel special and valued. They truly value making sure your day is the best it can be, which was not my experience touring other venues. Because of this incredible team, I was able to enjoy every minute of my day without any stress! If you’re considering booking Bear Brook - DO IT! We genuinely cannot recommend them enough!”

“Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!”

About wedding venues in Flanders, NJ

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.

Which Budget Categories Matter Most for New Jersey Celebrations?

Knowing where your money typically goes helps you allocate your budget effectively. Venues take the biggest slice at about 17% of your total budget or $9,599 for a 150-guest wedding.
