I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Edgar did such an incredible job with our engagement photos. He had great ideas and directed us without making it seem stiff and got some wonderful candids. He totally achieved the aesthetic we were going for and I couldn’t be happier. Will be booking for our wedding if he’s not booked already!

I'm Ashley a Cleveland, Ohio portrait photographer specializing in dark and concept driven imagery. With 18+ years of experience, I blend mood, storytelling, and artistic depth while offering a range of editing aesthetics to match each client's vision. I hold a Certificate in Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography and am also self taught. When I'm not creating, I'm with my supportive husband and our 2 cats Pumpkin & Goblin. We love traveling, trying new things, and discovering great food. My passion for photography began in childhood, inspired by my mother's photos and 90s magazine ads.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Important Points about Sage & Iron You Should Not Skip: -Budget friendly -Super flexible -Empathetic and understanding -Professional family wrangler -Prompt communication & transparency -Open to ideas if you've got 'em, but if not that's totally fine too -Easily the most "human" professional photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with Sage & Iron (we only worked with Ashley) is someone I felt super comfortable with right away--which says a lot because I'm usually so untrusting of most people I hire for things. My husband and I were hunting for a wedding photographer that could provide spooky/moody photos of us, but also some traditional classics too. All with the very tight constraints of funding our small wedding ourselves, we thought we'd never find what we were looking for. *Enter: Sage & Iron* We booked with S&I right away, and while I originally had plans with a friend to take our engagement photos, that fell through, and S&I(Ashley) was SO understanding when I asked about booking an engagement session even though it wasn't originally in our plans. We scheduled for dates in the fall, but it's Ohio, so there was of course rain.. then wind.. so our spooky moody engagement shoot ultimately was pushed to early spring in a cemetery. You would NEVER know that we didn't take these photos in the late-fall! Mission: Accomplished I am chronically forgetful, but Ashley always came through with reminders about payment dates, and was always incredibly flexible with me when I said I'd text her soon and "soon" became days. A Saint of Patience! Not to mention, all of our wedding planning (Read: Me stressing out) was happening while Ashley was experiencing some heavy life-things of her own, but she never once made me feel like anything less than a priority. Truly dedicated to her clients and making sure they feel heard and cared for. Wedding: It was beautiful weather all week, but naturally, bonkers wind and rain the entire day of our wedding. Unfortunately, and at no fault of S&I, our venue that already was lacking in the "indoor photo locations department" decided to book a 1000 guest event at the last minute the same day of our wedding... So are many of our photos in a stairwell not designed for photos? Yes. Did Ashley do her damndest to get interesting photos of the bridal party despite the lack of indoor locations or ideal lighting conditions? I believe so! She was also a champion of wrangling us, keeping the family under control during photo time, delegating whose turn it was to get photos with the bride and groom next, it was like watching a foreman in a work zone. And I NEEDED someone to do that for me because I was, well, a bride. In summary: S&I (Ashley) is a joy and a pleasure to work with, even when I forget to download my own wedding photos before they came down from the website... She still has them stored safely for me to be able to download them. An angel. If you're looking for a photographer who is real with you, keeps you updated, has transparent pricing and won't ever try to bait-and-switch you, cares about you as a human first and foremost, knows how to flex some genuinely cool moody artistic shots but still nails the classics, you've found your vendor!

Angela is a Destination wedding photographer capturing timeless memories for over 10 years. She loves providing couples with candid images that they can look back on for a lifetime. Her passion is to connect and tell couples’ love stories through the beauty and emotion of the moments captured.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot express how amazing Angela was. She has not only a super warm personality. But also an amazing work ethic. I got the package for two photographers and they were both phenomenal. While I was getting ready(we are running about 30 minutes late) she was out taking photos of the venue, the lay flat photos, and the other details pictures. She even held onto our rings for me because the bridal suite was a wreck and I didn’t wanna lose them. All in all my experience with her was a 12/10 experience. She was one of the people who made my wedding less stressful!

Lindsay is absolutely the best, from first connecting with her she has always kept great communication and always answers timely. We scheduled our engagement shoot and it happened to be a rainy day. Lindsay traveled hours to make sure she was there for us and despite the rain and conditions she made everything about the shoot amazing and fun, and worked her magic to make sure we got as many beautiful pictures and poses as we can even with the rain. She exceeded our expectations not only with the our photos but also receiving our full online album so fast to help us get our save the dates out quicker. Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

Hello, my name is Julia. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Upstate New York, capturing love stories in a soft, natural and timeless way. My approach is a mix of gentle guidance and documentary storytelling. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also give you space to be yourselves, so your photos feel real, relaxed and true to you.

We were nervous about having our first professional photo shoot but she was awesome in directing us in what to do. She made the whole process super easy. And most importantly, the photos! Needless to say, I am OBSESSED. You can tell how passionate she is about her work and she really takes her time. We are so lucky to have her shoot both our engagement photos and wedding. When I first started wedding photography, I made a goal of being more than just the photographer on your big day. I made it my goal to be your friend, someone you can crack inside jokes with, and someone who isn't afraid to get down + have fun at the reception (while still doing her job). I made it my goal to capture more than just photos, but an experience. Whether it’s high in the mountains, on a beach near the ocean, in a forest meadow - you deserve to get married however you want to & I want to capture it for you.

L & L Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding day. Lexi, one of the photographers, was incredibly effective and charismatic in her communication style, making the experience fun and easy. She was patient in answering all our questions and ensuring every moment was captured beautifully. The quality of their work is truly top tier, and their services are very affordable, making them a tremendous value. Lexi rocked every single moment, seamlessly blending into the celebration and creating absolute magic with her moody, romantic photography style. I've worked with many photographers, and Lexi is now my go-to - I cannot recommend L & L Photography highly enough.

With 13 years in the wedding industry, my passion for storytelling is what keeps me coming back. From the laughter to happy tears during the serene and the silly moments, weddings and the effortless moments created— will always hold a special place for me. Let Joy be part of your journey today!

Joy is my favorite contemporary artist. I’ve watched her photography evolve for over a decade and she continues to push the boundaries of her vision to new heights. Her photos are our only keepsake from the day of our wedding, which took place in our backyard during the 2020 quarantine. She transformed a less than ideal wedding scenario into the most magical series of images I’ve ever been a part of. She captured all of the hopes and fears present with us on that day and handed them back to us infused with the ethereal magic of her vision. She will never know what her art means to us. She is a master of her craft, and one of the most special friends I’ve ever had.

I am creative at heart. A hustle hard and give 100% for you, kinda girl. My second shooter? That would be my husband Marc who has been voted (by me) most likely to make anyone laugh until they cry. It’s no big surprise that witty banter is what drew Marc and I together, and I couldn’t ask for a better husband. (Plus, he’s pretty hot so there’s that.) As photographers, we draw inspiration from gorgeous florals, stunning details, and historical architecture, but what inspires us the most is the love and connection between our couples. I mean, isn’t that what it’s really all about? Photographs that make your heart flutter and tell your story.

I've always had a love for photography and I feel privileged to bring my passion to life. I want my photos to capture the genuine feeling of the moment and to reflect you and your story.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with Madison! From the moment we met, she was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. She made the whole process feel so natural and enjoyable, which was so important on such a big day. Not only was she professional, but she went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect. For example, when I was struggling to pin something to my dress, she immediately jumped in to help—something totally outside her job description, but she did it with a smile and made sure everything was perfect. It was those little thoughtful gestures that truly set her apart. And of course, the photos are nothing short of stunning! We absolutely love her style and the way she uses color. She made sure to capture every important moment, and we now have beautiful memories to cherish forever. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for not just a photographer, but someone who genuinely cares about making your day perfect.
