We chose their band Paradigm and the did not disappoint! We started our day with their stunning string quartet for the ceremony, and it set the perfect tone—elegant, emotional, and timeless. The music was beautifully played and made our walk down the aisle feel like a true fairytale. Guests even commented that it felt like a movie moment! Then came the reception… and WOW. Paradigm’s full band took over and completely transformed the night. The energy was electric, the vocals were out of this world, and the crowd interaction was on another level. They had every single guest on the dance floor—young and old. Their setlist was spot-on, and they somehow made the entire evening feel spontaneous and perfectly planned at the same time. “Jared performed at our wedding from the ceremony through the cocktail hour and the entire reception. We wanted a little more intimate of a vibe than a DJ, and Jared nailed it. Every song was performed exceptionally well, it was clear he had practiced and rehearsed. He had a fellow guitarist and singer involved that was equally impressive. We threw a bunch of songs his way that we wanted included that weren’t on his setlist, all of them were done well. The guests basically demanded a Creed song late into the reception and put Jared on the spot, which he also did great at performing. Would 100% recommend for any event needing good live music.”

He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

From the moment we had our planning call a few weeks before the wedding, I knew everything would run smoothly. Mike made the entire process so easy, and on the day of, everything was flawless. All the music followed our requests to a T, and our guests are still raving about the party! Mike knew exactly when to cut songs short and when to keep the energy high, plus he was fantastic at emceeing when needed. We had two grand entrances, and both were absolutely adorable and perfect. Our customized music for our choreographed first dance and serenade moment sounded incredible on the speakers. The ceremony and dinner music were also spot-on, and the entire evening flowed perfectly. “Good Musicians made my wedding. The entire night all of my guests were coming up to me freaking out about how amazing my band was. The music was the most important to me as this was the only vendor I was planning to be picky about, so much so that I fired my original band because I didn’t think they could produce what I wanted. Not only did Phillip let me design the setlist the way I wanted, he felt out my crowd and played songs accordingly. He went above and beyond to give my family 2 Grateful Dead songs since my father is a deadhead (even though in his words “the dead is hard to play”) and they KILLED it. I am forever grateful to Phillip and the band and I will work very hard to hire them for future family parties.”
