SRQ Violinist is a one-man band that can provide the sound of a full ensemble. He uses a mix of live looping and pre-recorded backing tracks to accomplish this. Matt is a classically trained violinist and can provide traditional classical music as well as a wide variety of modern selections to fit your desires.

    Highly recommend!!

    Matt played at our wedding and we kept getting compliments about how amazing our violinist sounded. We asked him to learn 2 new songs, one being the song when I walked down the aisle and he learned how to played them exactly spot on which made our moment more emotional because of how beautiful it sounded. He was always responsive up until the day of our wedding. Highly recommend!

    Wedding Day Highlight

    I think that Matt was the highlight of our wedding! I can not count how many compliments I got on the violinist! We are both busy doctors so had very little time to consult with Matt. We gave him a couple of songs and he sent us so many options, in the end we gave him control of the music haha and he knocked it out of the park!! I would recommend him for any event! He did everything from classical to Bruno Mars on Violin! Such a professional.

    An absolute must have!

    We chose Matt for our beach ceremony and cocktail hour and it was absolutely amazing! From the beginning he was super responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. We had the opportunity to meet him ahead of time at a restaurant he was performing at in Sarasota and at that moment knew he was going to be the perfect addition to our special day. He has an extensive list of music selections, all of which are amazing! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how perfectly he played every song and how much his music elevated our ceremony. I would highly highly recommend choosing him for your next event!

    Excellent!

    I can't say enough positive things about Matt! I had a small, private wedding on a beach and Matt was the perfect choice for music before, during, and after the ceremony. Each guest commented on how talented he is as a violinist and he played a wide variety of genres and songs that everyone enjoyed. I was very impressed by Matt during my ceremony...We even wanted him to stay longer than the reserved time after we heard him play! Matt is a very talented musician who will make your big day that much more special!

I currently know over 300 songs that couples can choose from. If the couple has a special song in mind that isn't on my list, I offer to learn one new song at no cost (as long as I can find the sheet music and a quality backing track).
Yes, I carry full liability insurance.
I arrive 90 minutes before the start time of the ceremony to unload and get set up.
I do not charge for travel for any bookings in Sarasota/Manatee Counties. Any event outside of that area I charge $0.50 per mile (one-way) from my address.
My ceremony music package includes 30 min of pre-ceremony music as guests are arriving and taking their seats, a selected song for the entrance of the family/bridal party, a song for the bride's entrance, and a song for the exit/recessional. I also provide music for cocktail hours, dinner music, rehearsal dinner entertainment, and more.
I typically wear black slacks, a white button up shirt, and a black vest. For beach weddings, I sometimes wear khaki pants with a white button up shirt.
I am a classically trained violinist but I offer many other genres outside of the classical realm. You can have modern songs at your wedding but still have the elegance that a weddings needs.
Couples are welcome to choose some/all of the songs that I play for pre-ceremony, entrances, and at cocktail hour. I am happy to create the playlist and/or assist with song selections.
