Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

Niko & Mary were wonderful to work with. They truly made our dream wedding come to life. They were attentive - always answering our questions and making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Food: Booking with Union Mills gave us the freedom to create the food experience we truly wanted. We went with a Filipino-inspired menu that combined many of our favorite dishes, and Niko was incredibly knowledgeable about different cultural cuisines. He offered wonderful selections and made the process so enjoyable. The pizza options were endless and allowed us to get creative as well! Drinks: The drinks were out of this world. We loved the variety of drink and beer options they provided. We really appreciated that they went the extra mile to source specific beers we requested — even getting one of our favorites on tap just for us! Location: The location of Union Mills is unbeatable. Its walkability to downtown Frederick and nearby bars was one of the main reasons we chose it. Since many of our guests were traveling from out of state or even out of the country, we wanted them to experience the true charm of Frederick, Maryland. Union Mills offered the perfect accessibility for our guests both before and after the wedding. Parking: Mary and Niko provided detailed maps to help our guests find parking easily. There’s plenty of parking available around Union Mills, and they were able to reserve a limited number of spots for us, which was so helpful. Communication: Mary and Niko were always responsive and easy to reach, whether by text or email. From our experience, they replied very quickly via text, which was perfect for quick questions. For more detailed inquiries about logistics or planning, email communication worked great. Their responsiveness made the planning process smooth and stress-free. Suggestions: The only thing we would have appreciated was a more streamlined way to receive quotes and itemized details. One of our other vendors used an event management app called A Perfect Venue, which made tracking and organizing everything really easy. Besides that, we were completely happy with everything Union Mills had to offer! Overall, we highly recommend working with Union Mills — you won’t regret it. We had such a wonderful, unforgettable experience! Thank you for your creativity, your thoughtful menu suggestions, and for executing everything so perfectly. We still dream about the food to this day and feel so lucky to have experienced such a wonderful celebration with the two of you.

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

We were the first wedding that True Chesapeake had done and they exceeded our expectations. We really had a unique wedding experience thanks to them. Guests had access to an oyster bar right when they walk in as well as an open bar. Planning was easy because almost everything was through True Chesapeake. They set up the chairs for our ceremony, then flipped the room. They set up the bridal party space with drinks and snacks so we didn’t go hungry. Communicating with their team was easy, punctual , and efficient. The food was obviously in house and AMAZING! Everyone said we had the best wedding food. Our wedding felt like exactly what we wanted!

The Perfect Venue for Our Wedding We cannot recommend Guilford Hall enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with Art Deco details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. We held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way. We chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food—especially the crab cakes, chicken, and steak. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming—our guests couldn’t stop raving. We also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible—if you have the chance to work with her, take it. She went above and beyond every step of the way to make our day perfect. Working with the entire Guilford Hall team was an absolute breeze. Every staff member was professional, accommodating, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. The building speaks for itself…the marble staircase, tiffany stained glass, and every other charming detail in the lobby is absolutely stunning! However, what really sold us on Hotel Monaco was our main point of contact Randie. From our first venue visit, I knew Randie was going to make our lives easier during the wedding planning process…she still exceeded our expectations. She was professional, reliable, and insanely prompt in answering our millions of questions. Food and dinner service was absolutely amazing as well. I didn’t have to think about a single thing our wedding day. Couldn’t recommend Randie and Hotel Monaco more!

I CANNOT say enough great things about Clyde's!!! I really wanted to keep things as simple and efficient as possible buy getting a venue that would be what I would consider to be "all inclusive" in terms of reception necessities (tables, chairs, food, silverware, glassware, dishes, linens, etc.). CHECK! I also really wanted our wedding reception to have an elevated simple yet elegant garden party aesthetic. DOUBLE CHECK! Plus, I used to show horses and am an avid equestrian, so the fact that they have an equestrian theme was just the icing atop of the cake! When we first went to look at the space, I fell in love with it! We ended up reserving the outdoor terrace for the reception and also. the two rooms upstairs for our wedding party to get ready in. The outdoor terrace was absolutely gorgeous and the reflecting pool was just spectacular! Having the rooms upstairs to get ready was great because then we had a place to escape and also to leave our belongings safely and securely. When getting ready, they had the waitstaff come upstairs and we could order anything off of the brunch menu. That was a lot of fun and made everything so relaxed and enjoyable! Tara and Keeley were absolutely fantastic! Super professional, super quick with responses, and great upbeat personalities! They really helped make our wedding day so spectacular! Another bonus, since we reserved the outdoor garden terrace, they also reserved and indoor option for us as well for a rain plan - FREE OF CHARGE! Everyone at the wedding was saying how great the food was, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was superb! I honestly can't think of anything I would change. I can't say enough great things about Clyde's I HIGHLY recommend them! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or any event, as they have so many different options for event spaces!! Go check out Clyde's NOW!!
