Frederick Social is the perfect fun & casual space for: Weddings, Welcome Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, After-Parties, Corporate events, Off-Site Meetings, Birthdays and more. We are Downtown Frederick's first self-pour tap house, featuring 50 craft beverages including beer, wine & varieties of kombucha. With over 3,000 square feet of open indoor space and an additional 1,000 square feet of patio space, our venue provides a flexible and unique experience for your special event.

For couples looking to host a non-traditional ceremony, reception or an all-out Welcome Party, the full buyout provides exclusive access to the expansive interior and the scenic creek-side patio. Our garage doors help creating an indoor-outdoor environment where guests can mingle freely between the sun-drenched patio and the self-pour tap wall, which serves as a central social hub.

This area offers the high-energy vibe of a downtown taphouse while providing a dedicated "home base" for your closest friends and family.

        Perfect Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Drinks

        Frederick Social was the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. From our first conversation, the team got back to us quickly and answered every question we had without making us feel rushed. The space is huge and open, which gave our group plenty of room to spread out and relax. Brian was assigned as our captain for the night and went above and beyond keeping our section private while taking care of all our needs. The tap wall was a huge hit with our guests. Everyone loved grabbing their own beers and showing each other what they picked. We have to shout out the churros too because they were seriously delicious. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back venue in downtown Frederick, this is the place.

        Wedding reception @ Frederick Social

        From our first conversation with Frederick Social, we knew we had found our venue. Mike and Audi were wonderful to work with—they responded quickly to our questions and were always ready to help us plan. The space is roomy and clean, and they took care of everything, which made planning stress-free. On our wedding day, the food was delicious and timed perfectly, and we loved that everything from food to drink to service and tips were included in one price. It was affordable and fit our budget. We can't recommend Frederick Social enough.

        Part of the family

        From our first conversation with Mike and Audi at Frederick Social, we knew we had found the right venue for our wedding. They listened to every detail of what we needed and worked with us step by step to bring our vision to life, from finding the perfect spot for our processional and Chupah to accommodating our guests' dietary needs. They flipped the room quickly from ceremony to party, and had plenty of private space for our family. Even though we only booked a half-day, they closed the entire venue so we wouldn't feel rushed, and they gave us plenty of time to set up and tear down at our own pace. Mike and Audi helped us create a menu that worked for our vegetarian & gluten-free guests and welcomed us bringing outside food in for our kosher family members without hesitation. We were even able to tap into their sound system and manage the music ourselves. What really stood out was how they made us feel like family from day one, and they continue to greet us with the same warmth every time we walk through their doors. Frederick Social is the kind of venue that truly cares about making your day special and stress-free.

      No outside alcohol is permitted
      There is a parking deck located directly behind our building, ample street parking and 2 other parking garages within 2-blocks of Frederick Social.
      Any third party vendors are required to provide a COI with Frederick Social LLC as a covered entity
      Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We are located on the ground floor with not stairs required to enter our space. We also have hearing-impaired fire alarm lights.
      January and February
      May, June and August through December.
      We do not allow outside food or beverage. Exceptions can be made for cakes however there is a fee for cake cutting and plating.
      Rentals are for a minimum of 3 hours. Full day rental packages can be arranged as well.
      Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your booked date, you may be billed for the full amount of all estimated charges.
