    Designed beautifully, but... Parking is valet only. The staff wasn't knowledgeable or helpful, and they misdirected my guests on a couple of occasions. Rooms were designed nice and kept clean, but air and plumbing were outdated and didn't work right. The lobby is on the 2nd floor and the historic marble (while gorgeous) was too dangerous to use, and they were having the elevator trim painted so there were wet paint signs and we had to be careful not to ruin our clothes. They power washed the front of the building the morning of my wedding, so we had to go through the restaurant and still felt some overspray. We also wanted to use a public space in the hotel for a quick 15 min rehearsal the night before, but they would not allow it and made us book a private event space for 250.

    We love working with the Monaco! The staff is always so helpful, it's always easy/quick to deliver, and Randie is the absolute best to work with! Her emails/phone calls are always quickly responded to and there is typically nothing that she can't answer! If any issue arise, whether on her end or ours, we work together to make sure everything is perfect and it normally is with Randie and the Monaco team! We couldn't be happier working with everyone there!

    The building speaks for itself…the marble staircase, tiffany stained glass, and every other charming detail in the lobby is absolutely stunning! However, what really sold us on Hotel Monaco was our main point of contact Randie. From our first venue visit, I knew Randie was going to make our lives easier during the wedding planning process…she still exceeded our expectations. She was professional, reliable, and insanely prompt in answering our millions of questions. Food and dinner service was absolutely amazing as well. I didn’t have to think about a single thing our wedding day. Couldn’t recommend Randie and Hotel Monaco more!

    Our wedding experience with the Monaco was incredible from start to finish. A year later our friends and family are still talking about how great our wedding was. From the staff, to the food, to the stunning historic building, everything was just a dream. Randie (Director of Catering) was there every step of the way and ensured that our day was not only perfect but customized to our wishes. From having our ceremony on the historic marble staircases (the pictures were beyond amazing), to customizing our reception menu, to designing our cake with Cake by Jason (yes that Jason Hinsley), everything was designed specifically for us. The sales team and front office pampered our guests (and of course they loved the wine reception each night) and our dog was treated like a star. There truly is no other venue like this in Baltimore.
