That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, friendly, and super detailed - they clearly cared about making our day perfect. And that's exactly what they delivered. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) They provided mics to the musicians and the officiant stand, which ended up being a lifesaver for us. The DJ and violinist were both fun and talented, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. DJ Servaun in particular did an amazing job matching the vibes, emceeing, and balancing in the moment song requests with a killer playlist. Get the DJ with Musician accompaniment package!! “If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, Mike is your guy. From start to finish, he was the definition of professional. Responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Mike made sure to walk through the venue with us ahead of time so that every logistical detail was locked in well before the big day. He handled all the traditional wedding DJ responsibilities flawlessly, but he also embraced our more unique requests without hesitation. We asked him to play video game lo-fi music during cocktail hour and dinner, and he absolutely nailed it. We're also huge fans of metal and rock, and we were initially worried that might not translate well to a wedding dance floor. He was able to mix those songs in live and keep the energy high all night.
