The event manager was incredibly responsive and flexible, catering to any last minute changes with ease to ensure our day went off without a hitch. Attean Lake Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Josie was always responsive, reasonable and kind throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is a gorgeous, magical private oasis with spectacular views, charm and ambiance - all at an amazing price. Josie was super flexible and really allowed us to execute our day however we wanted, from hand picking the menu to assisting all of our guests with their bags and even making extra late night trips to pick up late arrivals. The entire staff at Attean were a complete joy to work with. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true! The cabins are comfortable with stunning views, the food was out of this world, and we felt so welcome and comfortable as a queer couple. We wouldn't change a thing about our experience at Attean Lake Lodge.

From our first meeting to our wedding day, everyone was amazing. The stress of wedding planning was made easier with the team at Granite Rose. Lily our day-of coordinator was the best!! She listened to everything that we asked or needed and helped with calming the nerves. Joshua banquet captain was very helpful all around and so sweet. He really made the day run smooth as well. Both of them we just so kind. The whole staff at the Granite Rose is lovely. After the wedding, we received so many comments about how great and professional the staff was. It was the best nights of our lives and we cannot thank you enough for helping us make so many cherished memories. We would 100% recommend this venue to anyone who looking to plan a wedding!

Noble House Inn Venue was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. The inn itself is beautifully decorated and all the rooms are cute, quaint, and exceptionally clean. Across the road is Highland Lake which makes for fantastic pictures that really capture the essence and beauty of Maine. It truly feels like you're in a New England Hallmark romantic comedy! The outdoor grounds and ceremony space are also incredibly beautiful, lined with flowers and birch bark trees. The real stars of the show are Lynn, Cassie, and Matt. They truly care about you and your special day. They will do everything and everything to make you feel at home and at ease! Their communication throughout the planning process was quick and effective and they went above and beyond to provide us with things that other venues would charge for, such as tables, chairs, linens, etc. Their list of recommended vendors also shined brightly and helped to make our special day even more special. On the day of our wedding, a massive storm hit the area. Right when we were supposed to be walking down the aisle, the power went out and the intense rain literally knocked the power lines onto the road! Lynn, Matt, and Cassie kept calm and kept us all calm as well. They quickly got the generator running and the power back on with the help of the fire marshal that lives next door! They truly saved our day and it's a moment we will remember and appreciate forever. We're so grateful for their professionalism and dedication to making our wedding day perfect. We couldn't recommend the Noble House Inn Venue more highly and we're so happy with how everything turned out!

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

They were helpful, kind, communicative, and all around wonderful venue hosts. They're preferred vendors are also such wonderful recommendations! I can't recommend The Meadow at Red Ridge Farm enough. I wish we were getting married again!

Zorvino Vineyards was an amazing venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, their communication was top-notch - they were always responsive to our emails and texts, and made time to meet with us whenever we needed. They truly went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we felt taken care of throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and totally customizable to fit your vision. We loved how flexible they were in letting us personalize the space to make it our own. The only downside was that there wasn't a suite for the groom to get ready in, but the bride and bridesmaids had a lovely space to get ready. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Zorvino Vineyards made our special day so easy and stress-free. We highly recommend booking them - you won't regret it!

Steeple Hall At Mission Oak Grill was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, Nick (the venue coordinator) was incredibly punctual, flexible, and helpful in planning every detail of our special day. The space itself is beautiful, with nice wooden floors, an open and simple layout, and high ceilings that create a lovely ambiance. Nick was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. He helped us figure out the best seating chart and managed all the events at our reception, even making sure my husband and I took the time to eat! He went out of his way to make sure our parents and immediate family had enough food and everything they needed too! The food was also incredible - all of our guests raved about how amazing it was. The entire wait staff was punctual with their timing and so nice. We would highly recommend Steeple Hall At Mission Oak Grill to any couple looking to get married in the Newburyport area.

We had our wedding at Groveland Fairways by Wedgewood Weddings on 4/26/25! We initially got in contact with Groveland Fairways in the very early part of 2024, and it didn’t take long for us to decide that this was the venue for us! Since booking, the venue changed ownership and became a part of Wedgewood Weddings & Events. WW honored our pre-existing contract we had with Groveland Fairways and the transition was seamless! From the get-go, the WW team set up our planning meeting, details call, final meeting, and rehearsal. We had A LOT of TBDs after our first planning meeting, so thank you to the WW team for your patience! We primarily worked with Nicole, but the whole team was VERY involved. Everyone at Groveland Fairways was professional, organized, accommodating, available, and helpful. I’m originally from CT, so on more than one occasion I’d let the WW team know (with only a few days notice) that my mom was coming up and wanted to stop by the venue to plan things out and visualize the day. We never felt like an inconvenience and the WW team was there for us if we had questions but also let us walk around and do our thing. We planned to get married outside by the arbor (Terrace Garden), but the old saying “April showers bring May flowers” stayed true to its word and we had rain. Fortunately, Groveland Fairways has a beautiful indoors option (Fireside Room) and it worked out perfectly for us. It was a more intimate setting for us and all of our favorite people. WW offers multiple enhancements if you want to elevate your special day or make it more custom to you and your style, but we felt that the venue was simple and beautiful on its own! It fit our 135 guests very comfortably. There are multiple spots around the venue to take pictures - whether it be on the front porch, under the porte cochere, up in the new bridal suite, outside on the putting green, or around the grounds with the arborvitaes and white trellis in the background. We don't have enough good things to say about Groveland Fairways, it's charm, and incredibly thoughtful team! Thank you to everyone at Groveland Fairways, who made this experience SO EASY and our day so special!

When the clouds finally cleared, we stepped out into the field to have the outdoor ceremony we had envisioned all along. They knew exactly what the area was missing and wanted to create a fun space with quality food, ice cream and a renovated greenhouse to hold private events and weddings to compliment their full service restaurant next door. Featuring several of their fan favorite items from next door, quality Italian Deli Sandwiches and Gifford’s Premium Ice Cream. They have provided ample parking and an amazing outdoor area for relaxing by the fire pit, a competitive corn hole match or just a spot to enjoy good times with friends and family. Cheers!

Shane and the team are very accommodating. Every detail that I forgot to plan the team at Pica's either asked or addressed without hesitation. The Green House area is super cute. We had 50 people. There was plenty of space for everyone. Kat tending bar was super as usual!! The menu options continue to grow. Quality of food never disappoints. Highly recommend!!!!

Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

We had our dream wedding at Grill 28 in September, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive, making the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. One of the best things about this venue is that it provides all the necessities, including tables and chairs. We brought in some of our own chairs for the reception while using theirs for the ceremony. They also offer a wide selection of linens and even the option to add an extra tent to accommodate more guests. What makes this venue truly special is the flexibility to curate your wedding exactly as you envision it. Nestled on the beautiful Pease Golf Course, it’s a hidden gem—a true diamond in the rough! Unlike many wedding venues, we never felt like there was any price gouging. Everything was very reasonable and transparent. The accessibility of this venue is also a huge plus. It’s wheelchair-friendly, and the main tent is set on a concrete pad, so you don’t have to worry about wet or muddy grass—a huge relief if the weather is unpredictable! We had designated rooms to get ready in, and the food was absolutely out of this world! There are multiple spaces to utilize, including the garden patio—perfect for our cocktail hour—and the main tent for our reception. Another bonus is that the venue is owned by the same company as Popovers, so we were able to order our cake directly and even do a tasting! The menus are fully customizable, which made everything feel even more personal. Another big plus is the ample parking, making it easy for all of our guests. We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Grill 28. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers both beauty and exceptional service, this is the place!

From the moment we first reached out to the Black Swan Country Club, their communication was quick, calm, and incredibly helpful. Donna and the team were so supportive and caring throughout the entire planning process, making sure we felt a true connection with them. The quality of their work and value was fantastic - the views were absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and it was all incredibly reasonably priced. They were so flexible, even allowing us to include my dog Swish in the ceremony, which was so important to me. Donna kept everything running smoothly and made sure my husband and I were able to truly enjoy ourselves on our special day. Where do I start? From the very beginning Kim and her team at Hyla Brook Estate were always nice and answered all questions even if I asked soo many!! They had made wedding day smooth even though we were a little crazy. From the table setups, to the small things that had to be changed last minute. They just absolutely killed it, the venue is stunning, the team members are absolutely wonderful. I have zero complaints! They are pros no matter what you throw at them. They created my wedding day welcome mirror, they have an amazing something borrowed collection, amazing makeup/hair room, so many photo locations on site, they coordinated well with my vendors, literally nothing went wrong on my wedding day! Just felt amazing! I would recommend them OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! No regrets! Thank you Kim & her team !

We loving having our sunning and colorful wedding at your amazing venue! Our guests talked about the views and the food and everyone had a wonderful time! Finding the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner felt like searching for a hidden gem. We needed a venue that could comfortably hold 150 guests, offered a delicious menu, and had a charming atmosphere. Thankfully, our hunt led us to Portsmouth Gas Light's 3rd floor! From the moment we stepped into this beautiful downtown building (conveniently close to a parking garage!), we knew it was special. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Michelle, the Function Manager. Michelle was an absolute rockstar! She helped us navigate everything with ease, from handling dietary restrictions to selecting the perfect menu options and ensuring all our needs were met. The entire function team was professional and attentive, making the whole evening flow seamlessly. And let's not forget the food! It was incredible. Our guests raved about everything they tried. We highly recommend Portsmouth Gas Light for any event. If you're looking for a place with charm, delicious food, and amazing staff, look no further! Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!
