Welcome to the Barn at Bradstreet Farm, the North Shore’s most authentic and historic barn wedding and event venue! We are unable to respond to inquiries via Zola - please reach out to us directly! Our private estate promises an elevated experience for clients and guests, blending sophistication with rustic charm. All our events are farm-to-table - guests feast on farm-fresh delights, straight from our fields and other local farms. At the Barn at Bradstreet Farm, it's all about YOU! We host just one event per day, giving you our full spotlight. Just a skip away from Boston, nestled in the heart of North Shore and convenient to Newburyport and Ipswich, our property is a dreamy escape surrounded by nature's embrace. Picture-perfect celebrations unfold in our seven-acre paradise, surrounded by vast conservation lands. Our event spaces
The Ell
Built as a dairy-barn addition to the main barn in 1910, this is our main dinner and reception space. It overlooks the ceremony arbor and vineyard.
This 2,000 s.f. space has beautiful views of our gardens, fields and vineyard. It's our main dinner and reception space, and also the site of indoor ceremonies when weather brings the party inside. Clients have access to both the Ell and the main barn during their events - the spaces are connected.

The Barn
Built in the 1730's, this was one of the first English barns built in the U.S. - and one of the few still standing.
The main post-and-beam barn was raised in the 1730's, and meticulously restored by a master carpenter experienced in historic renovations. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. We use this space primarily as a bar, and set out small tables for guests to gather and visit. We serve dessert in this space, and set up buffets here. In inclement weather, we host cocktail hour in the main barn. Clients have access to both areas of the Barn for their events.

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!
The owners were incredibly nice and helpful throughout the entire process. A huge part of that was also thanks to Sue Alger, our day-of coordinator. She was absolutely fantastic—not just on the wedding day, but in the entire month leading up to it. Sue thought of every detail, anticipated every need, and made sure we felt calm, prepared, and supported throughout the entire process. Woodland Catering was equally incredible. They were so easy to work with, and the food was truly amazing—our guests are still raving about it! They went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions and any special requests we had, without making it feel like an inconvenience. Their flexibility and professionalism made planning the menu a breeze. Beach plum florist made our flower dreams come true! I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful bouquet or floral arrangements. They exceeded all my expectations. Very pleasant to work with! Overall, we’re so grateful for the entire team. The day was everything we dreamed of and more. Highly recommend it!
Beautiful wedding venue with exceptional staff
From the minute we stepped onto the property to visit it for the first time, we knew that was our venue. The grounds are simply beautiful, from the vineyard, to the flower gardens, to the pond. Photo wise, the property offers so much. The staff at the Barn, including the planners from CaTCH Events made sure every minute of our wedding was planned the way we wanted it. They worked really hard to make sure we could have our ceremony outside, despite the looming rain storm (we managed it with barely 10 min to spare). I very much appreciated their willingness to make sure that it happened, while also ensuring everyone would be safe. The barn itself inside is just stunning! Despite the heat of the day, it was comfortably air conditioned inside the dinner reception area and had an amazing charm to it. We comfortably fit 80 guests in there with plenty of room to spare. I would highly recommend this venue. It may be slightly more pricey than other venues in the area, but you get way more for what you pay for.

Everything turned out beautiful however if i could go back and pick a different venue i definitely would. Its too expensive and had way too many rules. The two ladies that are the planners are super nice however a little too over the top and it becomes overwhelming. guest felt like they were in high school with the amount of rules. Id say if the price went down then maybe I would recommend it.

We did have a large group of smokers at this event who had to be reminded repeatedly to go to our smoking area - we need to keep live flames away from our historic, 400-year-old Barn. We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Barn at Bradstreet! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm of the venue and the professionalism of the entire team. Despite a few surprises from Mother Nature, the staff handled everything with grace, creativity, and calm. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rustic charm meets elegant design in a beautiful setting. Every corner is photo-worthy, from the beautifully restored barn to the lush outdoor spaces. What really made our day unforgettable, though, was the team. Every single person we interacted with was kind, helpful, and incredibly professional. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. When the weather threw us a curveball, they improvised seamlessly and made sure our ceremony and reception were still perfect. Their ability to adapt while keeping us calm and happy was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for a venue that combines rustic beauty with a team that genuinely cares about your day, you've found it here. We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding there and will cherish the memories.
