Months, and sometimes years, of hard work are put into building a celebration – hopefully with lots of champagne toasts and happy tears along the way!

Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya. My husband and I agree that hiring Ohana and being able to work with Sonya was the best investment we would do all over again, and we recommend them to everyone. I wish I had hired Sonya sooner! Best wedding coordinator of all time. It is true, Ohana means family, and that is exactly how the team treats you.

I used A Rae of Light for my June 9 wedding and she was wonderful! I hired her partial planning service and it ended up being exactly what I needed, as a fairly self-driven type A bride who did not live in the city (Birmingham) where my wedding was happening. Raven served as essential eyes and ears throughout the process. She had great recommendations for venues and vendors, and was able to use her connections to get some discounts and deals for us, which as a budget-conscious bride I really appreciated!!! She also gave us a great recommendation for our afterparty, and was extremely patient as I went back-and-forth on whether to implement our heat plan (ended up going with our Plan A and it was beautiful!). Most importantly, she communicated well with us and helped implement our vision for what we wanted for the wedding rather than imposing her ideas. The wedding day was amazingly stress-free and it was all because of her! I highly highly recommend working with her!

We worked with Veronica for our small, intimate wedding (40 people) using her month-of microwedding package. We got access to her planning software (even before the month-of), which allowed us to easily keep track of everything we needed to do to stay on track. Veronica was happy to answer any questions we had in the portal before the month-of if we needed any help. During the month-of, she was super helpful in finalizing all the little design details we hadn't thought of (chairs, linens, lighting, etc) and especially nailing down the timeline. I was that person that did not think I needed a wedding planner! I decided last minute I needed one and I had interviewed 4 people and Christena was the only one that made me feel comfortable! Christena helped keep me organized, in control, and confident that I would be able to get through this! She brought things to my attention that I had no clue I needed to do. During the rehearsal dinner she got everyone in line and made sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing. The day of the wedding Christena and her assistant Jill knew literally handled everything from making sure my vision was brought to life, to making sure everything ran accordingly to plan, and making sure all items that were mine were organized and set aside for my family to gather at the end of the night. I cannot sing Christena’s praises enough! You are getting more than a wedding planner with her! If you are on the fence about this do not be, it is the best money well spent!!!

Cotten Designs was an incredible wedding planning partner from start to finish. Marissa and her team were incredibly flexible, highly responsive, and approachable communicators throughout the entire planning process. They were always quick to respond to our questions and adaptive to any changes we needed to make. The quality of their work was outstanding - they were creative, dedicated, proactive, collaborative, and incredibly organized. For example, Marissa helped us come up with the perfect wedding favors by sourcing custom Coca-Cola bottles with our names on them, which saved us a ton of time and effort. She also knew exactly how to get all our guests using the POV app on the day-of with a simple QR code sign. She also helped me source other decor I needed for the wedding, semi last minute. On the wedding day itself, Marissa ran everything flawlessly - no one came to me with questions and I didn't have to lift a finger, even for clean-up. Marissa's design skills are amazing too, as she helped us create custom signage throuhgout and at the last minute. I can't recommend Cotten Designs enough - they truly made my wedding stress-free and perfect.

Initially I intended to plan all of my wedding on my own - and in many ways I did. We were married at the Customs House in Portland, a venue that is a blankslate venue. As I neared the day however, I began to worry that there were aspects of the planning that I overlooked. I hired The Cosmos at their Month-of package level taking all of that worry out of the process. They took care of all of the things I did miss - called out that there was no plan for trash receptacles, revised the number of glasses rented, added bathroom attendants, adjusted the number of staff etc, but an unexpected element (and maybe the most important) is that they helped me to manage difficult family members. They figured out that this is where a lot of my stress was coming from. I was so grateful to their team for minimizing overall stress. I highly recommend!
