What is there to say! Five stars is simply not enough! Well for starters we just had our wedding at the Terraview on 10.19.24 and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are simply not enough words to describe this venue and this entire atmosphere as well as planning process. Our coordinator was Barbara and she was fantastic. The entire year leading up to our wedding. There was nothing but amazing communication and help at every turn. They make the planning process for your event or wedding so easy and we were so grateful since we honestly had no idea where to begin. Everything was amazing on the day of and was perfect to beginning to end. There is not a thing that we would have changed about our wedding. From the decorations to the florals to the food, there was no detail left out. If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful wedding or event space, I highly recommend this venue. The details of our day were so intimate and so carefully thought out by the entire team that we had working with us. We worked with the floral department and the bakery and the kitchen to create an amazing day. The transparency is second to none and we are forever grateful. They also have an on-site beauty studio where your hair makeup can get done and they were also fantastic to work with! Gina and her girls are truly talented and made my entire bridal party look stunning. My day of bridal attendant was Belkis and she is absolutely amazing. There was not one thing that we had questions on that she could not handle. She made sure that all the girls were eating. She made sure that I as the bride ate and was hydrated. She made everybody make sure that their dresses were perfect and during the getting ready portion, she was there for us 110% of the time helping with photos. Making sure that every detail on my dress was perfect. There are not enough words for her and I am profoundly grateful. After the ceremony, she insured that we had a drink in our hands and made sure that we were eating during our reception. She made sure that we were eating and brought us water on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor and was just always at our side ready to help us. She is definitely an asset to this venue in so many ways. It is also close to the Scranton airport if you have guest coming from farther away. They have different venues on site (different sizes and styles) and it’s one event per day at each so you aren’t dealing with other parties. It is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony sites are outdoors with gorgeous views and the reception rooms are beautiful. It is a family business and you do truly feel like family while working with them. I cannot say enough great things! It’s close to many hotels so getting blocks wasn’t an issue. You also get some rooms on site. You also get a wedding coordinator and a day or person who is well aware of you needs and wants! Our day was absolutely perfect beginning to end! They make it so easy to plan and stress free! Food was absolutely amazing and my guests have been raving since! I had a cocktail reception which I highly recommend exploring! They have their own full bakery so all desserts were also made by them! We are truly grateful for the entire team at the Stroudsmoor, who made our wedding day unforgettable and a day that our guests will talk about forever. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Poconos! Thank you so much everyone!

My husband and I were looking for a high value, reasonably-priced venue in the Brookly area and we found it in DEITY. We were immediately impressed by DEITY wedding packages. We were able to find a package that best fit our vision and budget. It’s really hard to imagine that we could have gotten a better deal for our money anywhere else, especially when you consider that the tax is already baked in upfront without any hidden surprises. DEITY is amazing, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our small and intimate wedding. The whole staff was very friendly and very accommodating, Anna our event coordinator was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. The food was excellent, the table setup was perfect with the family style setting. The Chef was so hospitable, he stopped by to make sure we were pleased with the food. The bottom line is, on the day of our event, DEITY showed up and executed flawlessly, from the decor, to the food, to the event management. We have been getting non-stop compliments from our friends and family about how awesome the wedding was and how much fun they had. First off, the wedding coordinator MELISSA at The Milestone Denton is godsend and 10000% deserves a huge raise and fat bonus for the amount of work she does and is so helpful in the planning process. She was very honest and upfront during the entire planning process. I am very Type A and for once in my life it was nice to have someone else in charge and I fully trusted her. She even provides recommendations when you don’t know what you want and will be honest with pricing. If it weren’t for Melissa, I don’t know how the wedding would have gone and I would have been so stressed during the planning process. She is so awesome that she goes out of her way to do things for you (be nice everyone!) and is very responsive. She also helped with the reception layout with my divorced parents who do not get along with other family members and it was a success. MELISSA IS THE BEST!! The venue - BEAUTIFUL. We had our ceremony indoors which was nice because our guests were able to take pictures at the gabezo in the back during cocktail hour. If you do your ceremony outside at the gazebo, the guests won’t be able to have their little photoshoots. The entire venue is gorgeous and every corner is a photo-op. It’s a great venue if you have 150 or less people. The big windows everywhere were just so beautiful. The bridal suite is HUGE and beautiful and the grooms suite is upstairs and has a tv and pool table. Perfect for the boys! The food, bar and DJ - everything was great and explained throughly by Melissa so expectations were set and made based on what tier and package you purchased I did not use the Walter Weddings photographer, florists or cake designer so I can’t speak to that. One downfall was on the day of the wedding with Melissa’s day of partner, Allison. She is super sweet and helped steam my bridal gown and Matron of Honor’s dress, which I’m so appreciative of. But I guess she didn’t communicate well to the staff on what needed to be done that day because there were several mishaps that shouldn’t have happened. The ceremony room was incomplete and she didn’t give me the chance to see how the front tables looked. I purchased 100 of bouquet flowers and ribbons that were supposed to be tied to each seat which I was told could be done since it was a simple task to tie 3 flowers and a bow on each aisle chair. This was not done so that small detail from my ceremony room seem bland and a waste of money. The front tables weren’t done how I wanted and it was chaotic having presents with our guestbook and our wedding sign. We wanted to utilize the buffet type table in the front room for presents so it’s not so cluttered when you walk in. Also, a lot of my items were not used for cocktail hour. After the wedding, I noticed the box was opened but she did not use what I purchase and the display for cocktail hour looked like a “backyard bbq” according to my guests. I was so disappointed because I had custom items and “backyard bbq” did not fit the vibe of “old Hollywood glam” of the wedding. Other than the day of mishaps, I highly recommend doing your wedding at Milestone Mansion Denton and having Melissa as your coordinator. GIVE HER A HUGE RAISE, Walter Weddings!!! She’s top notch and deserves it!

My husband and I got married on December 6, 2024 at Venue at the Grove and it was the most perfect day ever. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food was amazing, the service is incredible, and their vendors are the best! The day went incredibly smooth thanks to our coordinator, Alyssa, and the rest of the staff at Venue at the Grove. They were extremely helpful and responsive from the very beginning of the planning process which made planning our wedding very easy! Alyssa was with us every step of the way and made our vision come to life. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect day. We have also received SO many compliments from our guests about how amazing our venue was and how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. We are SO pleased with our choice to have our wedding at Venue at the Grove. It is not only the most beautiful venue in AZ, but they make the entire planning process and day of extremely easy, fun, and stress free. My now husband and I were nervous about the entire wedding process, knowing we wanted something a bit simpler, more intimate, and “nontraditional” in this day in age. We found Olio through social media and booked a tour right away. Walking up the staircase quite literally took my breath away. I was an emotional bride :) but the vast concrete walls, original flooring, and high ceilings brought tears to my eyes. We were “one and done.” Sarah, her team, and what they have created on Main Street is truly magic. We chose some budget friendly options (for items such as flowers and decor) but no matter the size, every bride is treated with luxury customer service. I’m not sure how we got so lucky, it feels like we found some sort of precious gem. We struggled to find the right words to do it all justice. Simply put, we feel so grateful. Grateful to have found Olio, Sarah, and experienced the magic firsthand. Each of our guests who attended was more taken with the space than the next. We cannot recommend it enough; you simply have to experience it for yourself.

Our wedding day & the planning leading up to it was absolutely perfect and we can't thank the Chicago Winery staff (especially our event manager Hulda!) enough for making our wedding come to life exactly as we dreamed it. The venue is gorgeous, our guests raved about the food/appetizers/cocktails/etc. and it is truly a night we will never forget. Being able to go outside to the cocktail hour terrace was also a huge plus to get people moving around and seeing new parts of the venue while the Chicago Winery staff transformed the whole space from ceremony to reception. We worked with Amy right after booking the space and she was so helpful in being a resource for us to bounce questions off of as we began planning. We utilized a lot of the preferred vendors (florist, DJ, etc.) that Chicago Winery recommended and they did not disappoint. Our event manager, Hulda, was soooooo helpful throughout the last 6 months of preparations and as our day-of manager - we could not have done it without her. She made sure the whole day was perfect and everything timeline-wise lined up exactly as we envisioned it. Can't recommend Chicago Winery enough! 1000000/10

TEN REASONS TO BOOK THIS VENUE (even before seeing it in person!) We booked sight unseen to get our preferred date, and the venue is only better in person! 1. Truly all inclusive and QUALITY services/ care. The Summit Team is responsive, flexible, professional, and kind. The local vendors they connect you with are detail oriented and make your vision come to life. We used their florist, DJ, caterer, baker, and photographer. We were thrilled with all of those services! The packages come with a coordinator and planner. They are incredible and make your life SO easy! I had no idea how much a would utilize these services. 2. There is no shortage of adorable decorations for you to choose from, so you save a ton of money by using what they provide (comes with the package) The Summit team sets it up and breaks it down for you. I’m particular and was honest about not liking burlap or lace. They really listened and made sure the style was exactly what I wanted. They have everything available to you on their Pinterest so it was easy to make decor selections. 3. The absolute best mountain view in North GA!!!! And there is no road noise. You might hear a ‘moo’ from the cows grazing on the hill. We toured a ton of venues and felt that a lot of them were too noisy or that parking/ layout was limiting for our handicapped guests. Summit is conveniently laid out and everything is accessible. We didn’t have to hike a mile to get beautiful photos. 4. The food is excellent! We had the Granny’s style menu and guests raved about it! Our cake was also gorgeous. They provided everything needed for dinnerware and refreshments and kept the drink stand replenished all evening while we danced! 5. It’s convenient from the ATL airport, and there’s plenty to do for guests traveling. Our family did a local wine tour. Tube the Cartecay if the weather permits! Some of our guests rented cabins and others stayed at the Hilton in downtown Blue Ridge (we provided a shuttle) and it worked out nicely for everyone! 6. The on-site accommodation (The Lewis House) is adorable! They also help you with recommendations for local accommodations/ transportation if your guests are traveling. 7. Our dog was able to be a part of our photos and ceremony! We only needed someone to take him back to the cabin for the reception. 8. Our loved ones got to enjoy the day with us. I’ve been in plenty of weddings where we worked all day and didn’t get to enjoy the celebration. The Summit Team gave our family and friends the space to cherish our day. 9. We selected the Apple Package upgrades, and our guests loved the boxed apple pies as favors. This was one less thing on our list and I would highly recommend the investment! 10. I enjoyed my wedding. The planning process was not stressful, and I felt as though I was the only bride at Summit because of how attentive the staff was. Thank you for making our wedding dream come true! We highly recommend booking with Summit Farm!!!

Our event producer, Lexie, went above and beyond—she brought so much energy, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm to every step of the planning process. I also have to give huge thanks to Alicia, my bridal attendant on the wedding day. She was such an essential part of keeping me calm, organized, and able to fully enjoy the day. The space itself is breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The food was outstanding—so many of our guests made a point to tell us how much they loved it! 100% would recommend Walden for a stress-free wedding experience!!! We knew Walden was our venue when we read about their full-service wedding packages including planners, kitchen/bar all under one roof. After we toured the venue, we could not wait to have our wedding here. Our main planners were Hannah and Briscel, and we had the pleasure of a 3rd planner, Ally with a last-minute day-of staffing change. Hannah and Briscel took the stress out of wedding planning, keeping us on track with every detail and vendor. Ally made sure the wedding day ran seamlessly. One of the best things we loved about working with the planners was their recommendations for local vendors (floral, DJ, photography etc.). Their assistance contacting and coordinating calls/quotes from vendors was also a huge help. Every possible detail regarding the wedding was accounted for, so we were certain nothing would be missed along the way. Now for the fun part, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and better than we ever dreamt. The coordinators kept us on schedule and sent an itinerary in advance, so everyone knew where to be and what was coming up next. They handled all of the communication with vendors and all the little details, so we could fully be present on our wedding day. We did not have any moments of stress, or panic, and was rarely asked any questions or to do any tasks. The Walden team set everything up for us from the welcome sign to the memorial table and of course the gorgeous reception room. It’s like suddenly we got teleported into our Pinterest vision board! A big shout out to Nick and Matt, the kitchen and bar staff. They were absolutely amazing! The drinks were awesome, the bartenders could make any drink guests wanted including mocktails. The food was incredible, so many guests complimented on how delicious their meals were. We also really appreciated their accommodations for various food restrictions and preferences. Overall, the Walden staff has truly thought of everything. They made the very daunting task of planning a wedding much more manageable, and made the whole day that much more special. Could not think of a better venue in the area for folks planning a wedding!

We had the absolute BEST experience having our wedding at The Boylston Rooms! Myles and Erin are an absolute dream team!! Even though we had the time of our lives at the wedding, it was bittersweet knowing our time working with them had come to a close. As a queer couple, when searching for venues it was important to us to have our wedding at a place that actively showcased LGBTQ couples and made us feel as though we would be accepted and celebrated. The moment we walked through the door and got to talking and touring with Myles, we knew The Boylston Rooms had to be our venue! From there, the planning process was so enjoyable! Not a lot of venues offer such careful, personalized attention along with a HUGE room of decor to help your day come to life. They were happy to let us visit whenever we wanted to take another look at their decor and all our emails and questions were answered promptly. When the wedding week finally came, we honestly weren’t even worried about things going wrong because Myles and Erin had everything under control! My wife and I both almost never feel that way, so thanks to them we were able to have fun, enjoy our day, and just be in love with being in love!!! Wedding venue shopping is a lot on a couple. It takes time and energy and can be very stressful. However, when we say we found the perfect place we mean it. Donauschwaben’s was one of our venue choices coming highly recommended by our friends and family already. We reached out through their website and within no time we got an immediate response from the Christine, Event/ Wedding planner to set up a meeting together. She is not only extremely kind, but had everything organized so beautifully to choose from it was a no-brainer to choose this venue. She even recommended our DJ who had played a previous wedding there who was incredible. All communication leading up to our big day was efficient and layed out easily for us to understand. Our checks were deposited in a timely manner by the venue, our tasting was so nice and so delicious. The no pressure wedding planning was worth every penny spent. Our wedding day was so special and so beautiful from start to finish from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our lovely reception to follow. Not only was Christine present the day of, but the staff was also on their A game all night long. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind, we felt like royalty. We both highly recommend this venue and if you do, definitely get the Schnitzel, Prost! The only recommendation to the venue would be to update their beverage packages to include seltzers such as High noons or White claws. Incredible. The Flagstaff House exceeded our expectations in every way. When we were initially brainstorming our wedding we wanted to prioritize the food and the music, aiming for a "supper club" vibe, and Flagstaff certainly knocked it out of the park. We decided on a day time lunch wedding and it was so much fun. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible the event was - the 5 star food, the delicious drinks, the wait staff's attentiveness, the VIEWS. Annie coordinated our event and she was absolutely wonderful. A true professional who is accommodating to all ends. Even when we weren't sure about something, Annie was always there with an excellent suggestion on how to execute. The wait staff come around and take drink orders, as opposed to the typical wedding bar that has a huge line. The kitchen accommodated all food and allergy restrictions with ease, and the bar staff even created some delicious fall cocktails on our behalf. We couldn't be happier with our ceremony overlooking the flatiron mountains. The location is truly special. They've made us raving fans and we will certainly be back for a "regular" dinner service soon.

We couldn't be more pleased with our wedding at the Pavilion on Crystal Lake! This venue is part of the CT Wedding Group and they are truly experts at what they do! Aesthetically, the venue is GORGEOUS. We loved the fact that we could have the best of both worlds--both inside and outside--for our wedding day. It was perfect! The outdoor ceremony space is intimate and romantic with a canopy of trees, garden lights, and a gazebo. The indoor reception area is just as intimate and has beautiful windows overlooking the lake. There are many different ways you can add on decor to make the inside as "dolled up" as you want. We also got ready for the day on the property at the Lake Cottage. Having been to multiple weddings where the wedding party had to get shuffled from one place to the next, we knew how much simpler and less stressful things would be if we could eliminate all of that. The Cottage is super cute and had everything we needed! Choosing a wedding venue was challenging, but there were a few things that set The Pavilion apart from the others. First, the food. From the beginning, we came to understand that the CT Wedding Group is very "food forward." They pride themselves on their high-quality food, presentation, and the fact that couples don't have to pick and choose options to save money--so much is just included. And simply put: the food was INCREDIBLE. The 10 passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious. We added on "The Farm Stand" which was the most elaborate charcuterie board anyone has ever seen. The dinner entrees were out of this world and dessert was divine. Every guest continues to rave to us about the food! It did not disappoint! Another thing that set apart this venue was the team of people. Once we signed the contract, we were on board with the CT Wedding Group and part of their little family. This group of people took such good care of us throughout the whole planning process! People ask if we hired a coordinator, and it was hard to answer because we had a whole TEAM of coordinators. They kept us on a schedule, made sure we were checking off things on our to-do list, hosting Zoom meetings, and were available to talk whenever we needed. Since our emails/texts went to an entire group of people, it meant we had rapid responses. Also, we never felt like any question was too small, nor any request too big. They were so kind to us and we felt extremely well cared for. Last but not least, the CT Wedding Group provides a day-of coordinator, which was amazing. By the time the day of your wedding rolls around, you will be done with decision making. All you want is to show up and have everyone tell you what to do! Our coordinator, Dimitri, was great. We knew we were in good hands and he made sure the day ran so smoothly. He also made sure we had exactly what we needed at every point in the day/night. We had no stress on our wedding day because of this! All in all, we HIGHLY recommend this venue. If not this venue, then any of the other CT Wedding Group properties. Our guests loved our wedding and so did we. You will have the BEST day!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees.
