Alpenglow Gardens
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $700
  • Serves Death Valley, CA

I’m Jacky Surber, owner and farmer-florist. I’m a homesteader at heart and I find immense joy in trying to live and work in harmony with nature. At Alpenglow Gardens we are passionate about providing locally grown flowers that are both gorgeous and sustainable, from seed to bouquet. We are committed to non-toxic farming and environmentally-friendly design practices that generate less waste and have a lighter carbon footprint. Our home and farm is taking root on land that has been home to the Paiute and Shoshone people since time immemorial. Payahuunadü means "land of the flowing water" and we are doing our best to respect the land.

I'm really specific about my flower styles and Jacky is amazing and talented. She has a beautiful aesthetic and she grows all her own flowers, which makes it that much better. She'll take what's in season and your color palette/requests, and come up with something beyond your expectations. I have had the best experience with Jacky. I hope people in the Eastern Sierra spread the word about her, she is by far the best florist I've ever worked with. I always look out for her bouquets at Pupfish Cafe and any photos from the weddings she's worked on. She does work from bouquets to arrangements to wedding services like centerpieces, archway pieces, etc. so she covers the whole span of flower needs. I can't recommend her enough!

Something Borrowed Blooms was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding flowers. From the beginning, their communication was simple, easy, and direct - making the process completely worry-free. Their selection was great, and their prices were incredibly affordable, which was a huge relief as we planned our wedding from out of town. The floral arrangements they created were absolutely beautiful, and I loved that I could add a scent to give them an extra touch of realism. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (79 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Death Valley, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Death Valley, CA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a fantastic florist to work with for our wedding. They had a straightforward, welcoming, and responsive communication style that made the entire process easy and stress-free. Their floral designs were elegant, affordable, and fully customizable to our preferences. They created a beautiful customized bouquet for my wife's bridal flowers and an elegant arch for our wedding ceremony. They even made last-minute adjustments to ensure we had the best possible designs. All of this was provided at an amazing price, and they even gave us a discount for being a local wedding. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their big day.

Flowers by Heather
Rating: 5.0 (22 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Death Valley, CA

After serving the Bay Area for years, I've moved to Lincoln and looking forward to serving our new community. A little about me: Always lived in the country raising cattle and horses. Grew up learning from mother about all things florals. Worked in vet med for years while also doing wedding flowers with my mother. Now that my husband and I have moved to Lincoln I decided to start my floral business full time.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot recommend Heather enough! My florals were exactly what I envisioned and for a value price. She called me a month before and discussed what I dreamed of for my wedding day. She was accommodating when I had additions a month out and arrived early to setup on the big day. I absolutely loved her work on the arch, bouquets, boutonnieres, and the end of aisle/head table pieces. Heather delivered above expectations and I am so thankful I found her. Thank you Heather for your work!!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!

Haven Florals
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Death Valley, CA
  • Offer

Haven Florals is a home based studio nestled in Sparks, NV. We seek to create naturalistic and European inspired arrangements, drawing inspiration from natures beauty and the ever changing colors of each season. We believe in creating impactful designs that tell our client’s love stories, are cohesive with the surrounding environments and we focus on the small details that reflect their personality. We love to choose ingredients that are of the unbeaten path, sourcing from local farmers and California wholesalers as well as our own garden.

We were connected with Kristina through our planner, Taylor at Revel & Rye, and couldn’t have been happier with the recommendation. Kristina nailed the vision perfectly. We had a good idea of what we were looking for, but of course needed the right person to help bring it to life. Kristina listened and understood what we were imagining, presented options while being mindful of our budget, and expanded where we wanted to. Haven Florals focuses on “Old World and Wild Wedding Flowers” and while Kristina certainly excels in that style, someone as talented as she is can do it all. Our floral design was nearly all white, focusing on texture and layout instead of color, but that was no problem for Kristina. The flowers were one of our favorite and most memorable parts of our wedding day, and it would not have been the same without Haven Florals. I would happily use Kristina for any future event where you want the best of the best when it comes to floral design, wedding or otherwise!

Katie was amazing to work with! She helped tailor our flowers to keep within our budget, and they came out AMAZING. I'm so happy I get to keep them as an amazing keepsake. Zombie Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $100
  • Serves Death Valley, CA

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

Awarded Best of Zola
I only had bouquet and my now husband had a lapel crawler. The dried flower arrangement from Zombie Flowers was stunning. It looked incredible in photos and is still just as beautiful now. Knowing it will last forever makes it such a meaningful keepsake.

This is the second shadow box from the same bouquet. That tells you just what an artist she is. My daughter dedicated her bouquet to me at her wedding. Which I still have no words for. I was so surprised and ill prepared that I needed someone fast when I got home to preserve this moment. I was lucky to find Zola. She took my flowers the same day I came home. When my daughter saw how stunning my shadow box was she had a little sadness she didn’t have one for herself. As a surprise I asked if Zola would have enough materials left for a second one. She was a miracle worker. She made her a smaller one that was perfect. I would recommend her to anyone! She is so great with communication as well.
