I’m Jacky Surber, owner and farmer-florist. I’m a homesteader at heart and I find immense joy in trying to live and work in harmony with nature. At Alpenglow Gardens we are passionate about providing locally grown flowers that are both gorgeous and sustainable, from seed to bouquet. We are committed to non-toxic farming and environmentally-friendly design practices that generate less waste and have a lighter carbon footprint. Our home and farm is taking root on land that has been home to the Paiute and Shoshone people since time immemorial. Payahuunadü means "land of the flowing water" and we are doing our best to respect the land.

We provide locally grown flowers for weddings, elopements, special events, hotels, vacation rentals, restaurants and bouquet subscriptions at locations throughout the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, including but not limited to: Mammoth Lakes, Convict Lake, Cardinal Village, June Lake, McGee Creek, Benton, Big Pine, Lone Pine, Lee Vining, Yosemite and of course Bishop.

    Wonderful floral experience with Jacky & Alpenglow

    Jacky and Alpenglow Gardens were such a pleasure to work with for our June wedding at Convict Lake. We were so grateful for her time and artistry in creating a floral scene that was even more beautiful than we could’ve imagined. We wanted the day to feel wild, romantic, humble, and enchanting, and it really did. We also wanted to reuse flowers between two days of events, and Jacky found a way to do so that didn’t compromise any of the arrangements and also fit within our budget. She was so easy to work with - creative, professional, and personable. She listened to what we wanted and also guided us with her expertise in a direction that worked with the setting, season, and practicality of flowers. We received so many compliments on the floral arrangements. Would highly recommend Jacky and Alpenglow Gardens!

    Choose this local flower farmer!

    Jacky was incredible to work with and I loved being able to support and work with a local flower farmer! Jacky was incredibly responsive, helpful, invested in my vision, and truly provided incredibly beautiful arrangements. We ordered premade bud vases, medium bridal bouquet, petite bridesmaid bouquets, a hair piece (gorgeous), boutonnières as well as 6 buckets of flowers. Everything was beautiful and matched the wildflower, colorful vision I was looking for with a touch of the PNW by including ferns and raspberry greenery which made me so happy to have on my wedding day. Jacky made sure that we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions with patience, promptness, and detailed responses. I highly recommend Alpenglow Gardens to contribute to your wedding vision - you’ll be blossoming with joy!

    The most stunning wedding flowers!

    Alpenglow Gardens was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning, Jacky was incredibly proactive in communicating with us and co-creating the perfect floral designs for our special day. Her stunning, unique flowers were locally grown with so much love and care - you could truly feel the artistry in every bouquet and arrangement. Alpenglow not only created the most beautiful bouquet and boutonnières for our elopement, but also did it all over again for our wedding with gorgeous ceremony flowers, table decor, and another stunning bouquet and boutonnières for the whole family. Jacky even decorated our cake with her signature edible flowers, her flowers were hands down my favorite detail of the entire wedding! I cannot recommend Alpenglow Gardens highly enough - Jacky's talent, passion, and commitment to her craft is unmatched.

    Beautiful, locally-grown dream flowers!

    I'm really specific about my flower styles and Jacky is amazing and talented. She has a beautiful aesthetic and she grows all her own flowers, which makes it that much better. She'll take what's in season and your color palette/requests, and come up with something beyond your expectations. I have had the best experience with Jacky. I hope people in the Eastern Sierra spread the word about her, she is by far the best florist I've ever worked with. I always look out for her bouquets at Pupfish Cafe and any photos from the weddings she's worked on. She does work from bouquets to arrangements to wedding services like centerpieces, archway pieces, etc. so she covers the whole span of flower needs. I can't recommend her enough!

We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services from June Lake to Lone Pine and anywhere in between. We have a $200 minimum for floral delivery or 10% of the order, whichever is greater (and free pickup). Full service weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
DIY packages start at $700, A La Carte packages start at $2,000 and Full Service packages start at $4,000.

It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, since we like to custom grow your flowers and need lead time to order seeds and plan out the garden in advance.
