As a busy wife, and mother to five children Karen is an expert at creating beauty from chaos. Raised in the Pasadena Area she and her husband now reside with their family in Central California. Karen has a love for flowers, helping people exercising, drinking coffee, and anything creative.

With a background in fine art, a long history in the non-profit field, as well as in fashion merchandising. Karen brings an eye for detail and a love of simplicity and beauty to your event. Blending professionalism and creativity for the discerning Bride she will help you bring your vision to life.

    Moss and Boughs was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very first interaction, their communication was professional, responsive, and timely. Karen and her team truly went above and beyond to deliver personalized, detail-oriented florals that exceeded our expectations. Karen cared deeply about making sure every element represented my vision as the bride, and the bridal bouquet was everything I could have hoped for and more. The centerpieces were absolutely stunning, and all of our guests were raving about the gorgeous flowers throughout the night. Everything about their work was top-notch, and I would highly recommend Moss and Boughs to any couple planning their wedding.

    shes a legend!!

    Karen is a maximizer. She can see a space and beautify it in every way! Karen cares deeply about her work and pays attention to the smallest details to make a place look stunning. I hired Karen to do the flowers for my sisters' bridal shower and wedding! She went above and beyond to make it look absolutely stunning. She is willing to work hard to to go the extra mile.     Talented Florist

    I had a very specific vision for my flowers and Karen did not disappoint! She is beyond helpful, creative and supportive of the bride’s vision. She did my bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and centerpieces and they all came together so beautifully. I even asked for bougainvillea, which is hard to find, and she DELIVERED! I can’t recommend her enough!

Yes! I actually love to work in Southern California. My favorite vendors and wholesale farms and growers are actually in Southern California and having grown up and lived in the area I love getting work there.
I do have a minimum spend in order to cover my time, travel and set up time, and the cost of flowers and supplies, however I know what it's like to be on a budget and want to still create those beautiful lasting memories and I want to help so reach out and let's chat and see what we can do.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour. Before your consultation I will need your aproximate head count, venue, and size of your wedding party. I also request links to any inspiration boards or photos and aproximate budget. This helps me get a vision of what you will need and if we will be a good fit. After your consultation I will send you an itemized quote with a vision board of what your event will look like. We will continue to work closely as your wedding approaches to refine and confirm. All your final details. I coordinate with your venue and wedding planner to make sure set up goes off without a hitch!
