We hired Alex's team to be our day-of coordinator, but she was always available to be our advocate or simply tell us we weren't crazy and that was in fact not the way things should be done when we ran into issues. On the wedding day, her team put out fires that we never needed to worry about and put in extra work after our wedding day while we were on our honeymoon advocating for us to resolve issues with vendors that didn't fulfill their commitment on our wedding day. Outside of the great work her team did on the day of the wedding, Alex was a huge support for both of us throughout the day just being a human that cared about us and not a wedding vendor that has a contractual obligation. “We shopped around a bit for a planner before landing on McKayla and her team over at Shaded Spruce Events. Even though we only booked the partial planning package, it felt as if we had a full planner on our side. McKayla made an effort to meet us on our level and elevate ALL of our ideas into a reality. McKayla took most of the logistical planning out of our hands, which allowed us to focus on the fun things. She also helped us settle on and refine the design of the event, and she gave really great ideas that we probably wouldn't have though of on our own. Her recommendations for vendors was also super helpful, and we were very pleased with the ones that we booked. She quickly figured out what we were looking for and how we operated and catered the planning to fit what we needed. With our package, we were also able to utilize a lot of additional decor and services that Shaded Spruce provides, which really added to the overall design of the event. On the big day, we didn't see much of McKayla and her team beyond what was needed, but we knew they were working hard to make the day perfect because the day went perfectly from our perspective! Not only did the event look perfect, we were also extremely satisfied with McKayla and her team's communication. We were always in the loop about what we needed to do and where we needed to be without it feeling overwhelming. At the end of the night, she handled the organization of the tear down, which allowed for the two of us to head out without having to worry about it. Overall, working with McKayla and her team was a true pleasure. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is even thinking of getting a planner. “Working with The Events Paige LLC was such a relief from start to finish. Paige has this calm way of keeping everything organized and on track, which made us feel secure the whole time. She really understood what we wanted for our day and made sure every detail matched our vision. I recommend telling her exactly what you want done if you are picky about things, otherwise it seems she has a good intuition on style/decor based on what you tell her. She also has a rental inventory that is free for your use when you book certain packages, which was a great perk and can help save money on décor and other wedding details. During the reception, Paige was so attentive—she noticed when we needed water or drinks and brought them without us even asking. What stood out most was how she protected our peace on the night of the wedding, letting us just enjoy the moment instead of worrying about logistics.
