“We had such a wonderful experience with our DJ. Before the wedding, he met with us to really understand our ideas and preferences, and it made us feel so confident going into the big day. The photo booth was a huge hit and when we received the pictures afterward, along with the beautiful book he created with all the prints, it meant so much to us. “Kevin was recommended to us through our wedding planner. Once we booked him, we were provided with a document where we could suggest songs for each portion of the evening. “If I could give John and Trading Post Productions 10 stars, I would. I don't normally go on and on about how great people are, but this group absolutely deserves it. For our wedding, we booked DJ for the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. First, the live music trio (which we had a guitar, violin, and cello) absolutely nailed it! We chose several songs from their repertoire, but also requested a couple others that were personal to the bride and I, and they not only were accommodating, but they knocked it out of the park during their performance! Second, I could share all the little details about how John was prepared for every moment, but here's the big idea: he is experienced, he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, he is easy to work with, he knows how to read a room, and he is SO talented. So many guests (and even venue staff!) commented on how amazing our DJ was! And there were several times throughout the evening where every single guest was out on the dance floor! Even more than a DJ, John is kind and outgoing, and was so excited to help us celebrate our big day. One little detail I would like to share was during the bride and I's last dance before we departed. John put on the song we requested and then left the room, giving us total privacy in that moment. Though this seems like a little thing, it allowed the bride and I to focus entirely on each other without feeling like anybody was watching us. It is a moment that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life. I genuinely don't think a more well-rounded DJ exists. If you're on the fence about whether or not this group is worth it, allow me to be your sign that having John and Trading Post Productions at your wedding is the best choice you could make. We had a packed dance floor until the very end, exactly how I had always imagined it. Tarrah is an amazing coordinator. Even though we hired her as our "day-of" coordinator, she went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. We booked her many months in advance, and she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Every single one of our vendors commented on how impressed they were with her organization, communication, and attention to detail. They all mentioned how well she kept everyone informed and provided detailed timelines and information, and we saw that firsthand with the incredibly organized planning documents she created for us. On the wedding day, Tarrah made everything feel effortless. She handled all of the setup, kept everything on schedule, checked in with me throughout the day, and somehow still found time to answer the billion questions from my mom and grandma! One of my favorite moments was when she had appetizers waiting for us while we signed our marriage license. I also have dietary restrictions, and she even made sure I had my own special dinner. Those little touches meant so much and showed how much she genuinely cares about her couples. I truly cannot thank Tarrah and Gordon enough for making our wedding day so smooth, stress-free, and special. They helped bring my dream wedding to life, and I wouldn't change a thing. “We cannot express enough praise and gratitude for Mitch! We had the privilege of working with him for our wedding on 7/6/24. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony.
