“Emie and her assistant Michael were fantastic! From our first meeting with Emie, she made sure that our wishes were heard and made sure that it was something she could capture. Through the planning process, she reassured us and continuously instilled confidence in us. On the day of our wedding, her and Michael were early and comforting. They did getting ready photos, our first look, bridal party photos, and family photos per our shot list. They were so knowledgable and paid great attention to the lighting and backdrop, having us change angles a few times to account for it. She coached us through poses and, most importantly, what to do with our hands. During the ceremony and reception, they both were able to capture shots that we had no idea they were even in position for! They also brought disposable cameras to the event for our guests to take candids throughout the night and we’re super excited to see how those turn out!
Additionally, they were very professional in handling relatives who wanted to take pictures on their own equipment throughout the day. They were so fun to work with, we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Albemarle area!”
