“We fell in LOVE with Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm from the moment we drove in! It was one of the first venues we saw and we knew we wouldn’t have to look any further. It’s an absolutely beautiful farm filled with sunflowers and wildflowers. We absolutely loved getting ready in the wonderful farm house estate right on the venue. Leading up to the wedding, Avery and the Johnson Locust Hall Farm family had great communication and were very accommodating. The day of the wedding, we literally had to worry about NOTHING. They took care of everything and they had everything planned out to a T. The cocktail hour was spectacular in the stone barn and the reception was amazing in the breezeway barn. We are SO over the moon to have gotten married here. We are so happy that we can also visit again during the fall and spring during their events & farm activities which makes it so special that we could see this gorgeous venue again. HIGHLY recommend.”

“It is undeniably the most versatile & gorgeous venue in NJ. An all-inclusive venue that gives the you rustic, speak-easy & ballroom vibes all into one. While the Hamilton Manor doesn't look much from the outside, our guests were blown away by the beauty of the spaces Hamilton Manor has to offer. To describe the staff, they are the most friendly, kind, attentive, professional and organized group of people. We were thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail and in making sure that not only ourselves, but our guests were fully taken care of. Several guests have noted that this has been the most impressive wedding that they have ever been to. Our guests won't stop talking about the food - cocktail hour was everybody's favorite! There was so many options & each dish prepared was absolutely delicious. To our team, Diana, Megan, Kristen & Lloyd, thank you so much for making our day the best of our lives. Our day was so seamless and we really could not have done it without you. Your attentiveness to us and our guests did not go unnoticed. “We had a beautiful wedding at Bishop Farmstead through JAM Catering. We knew we loved the venue when we toured in March 2025, but I couldn't even imagine how gorgeous it would look fully dressed for our wedding in late August of 2026. If you're looking for a gardeny, outdoorsy, whimsical location, Bishop Farmstead is definitely the place. Between the food and the service, JAM is really top notch. Anecdotally, one of our harder to please guests even shared that this was the best food they've had at a wedding to date. But we knew the food was going to be excellent from our tasting, which was a total blast in and of itself. Side note: My husband also commented how on the ball the bartender were. I'd like to shout out our fabulous coordinator Gina and her assistant Kayla. Gina felt like working with your most organized friend. She was super communicative and kept our day as worry-free as possible. We decided upgrade to a package that allowed us to use more of Gina's time and I totally recommend spending the extra money on that. I told her my ideal day would involve no decision making, and she made that dream a reality. Unfortunately, there was a medical emergency right as our ceremony began (everyone ended up being okay, thank goodness!). And I have to give a huge thank you to the whole JAM team, but especially Kayla who was on the phone with 911 in no time at all. Multiple people told me how Kayla kept everything under control; we're lucky we had her! We truly had the best day ever, and had the dance party of our dreams. I can't recommend Gina, Kayla, JAM, and Bishops Farmstead enough. I wish we could get married all over again :)”

“Camden County Boathouse was a 10/10! Staff was super accommodating and easy to contact. The space is very large and beautiful. The bathrooms- which was the only part I didn’t like during the tour the year prior- were newly renovated and gave the space an even more luxurious feel. The indoor ceremony space- which I was very nervous about- was beautiful and made me even forget about the rainy weather. When I arrived, the entire ceremony space ( chairs, walls, etc) had already been set up which was really nice. I decided to move a few tables around last min and staff helped immediately. Martina, who gave me my original tour, was amazing and gave me some great advice early on in our planning journey. Overall, my husband and I both agree we picked an amazing venue with amazing staff and wouldn’t change a thing. My main concern, given our spring wedding, was finding a space that was just as beautiful inside as it was outside in the event that we needed to move everything indoors.. Camden County Boathouse was just that!”

“There aren't enough words to describe what a perfect day Anah and her team created for our wedding. It was more perfect than we ever could have conceived of ourselves. We booked during a transition period for Anah and her business, so sometimes there were some lapses in communication and some crossed wires, but when it came to the wedding weekend, everything was absolutely perfect. (Maybe I'm overusing that word, but it doesn't feel possible). Anah is so warm, funny, personable, and made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world on our wedding day - and also extremely safe and welcome as a queer couple. Every detail was thoughtful and lovely. We used what she grows for our flowers, and she put together a bouquet for me on the morning of the wedding that matched perfectly with accessories she hadn't even seen yet. It's possible she's a little bit psychic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Anah and team for our perfect day. I wish we could do it all over again!”

“Our wedding at Terrain Gardens at DelVal was absolutely perfect! It was a dream!!! I’m breaking it down below because Terrain exceeded my expectations in every category possible. I cannot recommend them and this venue more highly. Food: This was probably the most important thing to me and my then fiancé when picking a venue. I wanted my guests to say, “wow, this is the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding!” …Well, goal accomplished! I heard that multiple times and people are still raving about the food weeks later!! The cocktail hour was extravagant and extensive!! And the dinner did not disappoint! Dessert was amazing as well. I don’t know what else to say but it was sooo much food and sooooo delicious! Venue space: It’s spacious and absolutely beautiful. I had about 165 guests (176 is the max) and it worked perfectly! The long farm tables layout for dinner is stunning. The dance floor area is huge. The outdoor space is perfect and a lot of my guests hung out out there throughout the evening. They set up a bar and s’mores by the fire pits outside so it made the space very usable and welcoming. We had our ceremony inside because it was in July and I didn’t want guests to be hot and that worked out well, the front half of the room had chairs while the back half had cocktail tables set up where people could stand and enjoy their drinks during the ceremony - which worked great with the margarita greeting we selected! Wedding Coordinator: At Terrain included with your wedding you are assigned a coordinator after booking your date. I can’t tell you what an incredible value I felt like this was! Our coordinator, Matt, was absolutely amazing and there’s no way our wedding would have been the dream it was without him! Matt and the Terrain team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything involving our big day. We met with Matt every month or so leading up to the wedding and had clear things to work on, discuss, and decide for each meeting - this high level of organization made planning so much easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable! The day of we also had Morgan join Matt in coordinating, everything seemed to flow so smoothly and effortlessly and I know that’s only due to how hard they were working behind the scenes!! As the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they made everything go off without a hitch and took such good care of me! Terrain Design (Florist): I used Terrain Design for my florals and worked with Stephanie - I can’t express how impressed and overwhelmed I was with her and her team’s work. I am very particular and threw a lot of pretty unique ideas out there. I cried the second I first walked into the venue!! I was so blown away by the table settings. The bud vase and candle table scapes created the most beautiful, whimsical scene. “My partner and I had the best experience working with Deyna Hamilton from Manayunk Brewing for our wedding reception! From the moment we booked the space a year prior, Deyna was so hands-on with us and helped with everything along the way. Every time we met, she kept us on track and helped us organize our to-do list and was such a pleasure to work with. She clearly has a ton of experience with planning and organizing events, and on the day-of, Deyna made sure we had the most carefree and fun time! The cocktail hour & reception space were perfect for my husband and I. We hosted about 80 people, so everybody had a lot of room to mingle and have drinks and dance. We chose to do stations for dinner, and they were a hit! Everybody told us how much they enjoyed the food during the cocktail hour and reception. The chef at Manayunk is very good! Deyna helped us choose all of the food in the months leading up to our reception which was also a load off our minds! We had a great time utilizing the bridal suite in the hours before our reception - it was a great space to have drinks and snacks with our family, put together some of our decor, and get ready. Deyna and the other staffers helped us tremendously by putting together the reception & cocktail hour space with all of our decorations, flowers, and photos. Deyna provided recommendations for vendors, so it was easy to choose a DJ (John Cicala from Silver Sounds) who already knew the venue! We can’t recommend Manayunk and Deyna enough. They were so wonderful to us! Thank you for everything!”

“We had a beautiful wedding weekend in April at the Stone Ridge Farm Inn! From the moment I began communication with Lori, she was incredibly responsive and attentive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. The venue is definitely a hidden gem and it was perfect for our intimate wedding of 27 people. We decided not to hire a wedding planner, and I’m so glad we didn’t because Lori and Steve were there to help with anything we needed. We DIY’d all of our wedding décor, and Lori helped incorporate some of the Carriage House’s existing decorations with ours, which gave the space a more romantic vibe. I made our two wedding cakes, but I forgot to bring cake stands for them. Lori was so kind to go out of her way to pick up two stands for us to use so we could display the cakes properly. Steve and Lori spent the previous day helping us set up, running through our ceremony rehearsal with us, and making sure our guests found their rooms and got parked without any issues. Steve also handled our ceremony music from our Spotify playlists perfectly. We were told that he wasn’t very “tech savvy,” but we gave him a simple list of songs and cues, and he absolutely understood the assignment. The dining area at the Inn was set up beautifully for our welcome dinner. Lori had just recently gotten longer dining tables for the Inn, so it was the perfect amount of space to seat everyone. Steve and Lori gave us space to host our welcome dinner, and if we ever needed anything from them, all we had to do was text or call them and they’d be right over. After dinner, we had karaoke at the Inn, which ended up being one of the most fun parts of the weekend. There’s a karaoke microphone upstairs overlooking the main area, and all we had to do was hook up our laptop and pull up karaoke songs on YouTube. Everyone had a blast singing and hanging out! We also hosted a send-off brunch the next morning after the wedding, and Lori met our caterer and helped them with setup while we and our guests were able to sleep in. The Inn itself is beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glassware, utensils, and anything else you might need. There are nine beautifully decorated guest rooms, which comfortably accommodated 22 of our guests, including us. The Carriage House was the perfect reception space for our guest count. We had plenty of room for dinner, desserts, and a dance floor. We were also able to have our ceremony outdoors, and the sunset during cocktail hour was absolutely mesmerizing. We brought our own speaker and laptop for music, and it sounded great all evening. We didn’t even need a DJ. Every little detail was so thoughtfully considered, and Steve and Lori made us feel completely supported from start to finish. The entire weekend was so wonderful, and if I could do it all over again, I would! If anyone is thinking of hosting their intimate sized wedding somewhere, definitely host it here! It’s the perfect place to spend your weekend with your closest friends and family.”

“We recently had our wedding at Cecil Creek in December, and are still beaming about how incredible the day was. From the moment we met Sam and toured the farm, we knew this was the right spot for us. The service and warmth we experienced on the tour was a perfect indicator of what was to come during the months of planning. Denise was great to work with, and during our details meeting asked us questions we had not even thought of. They had an amazing selection of decorations that we could use, and added extra chairs to the Greenhouse so that everyone had a seat at our ceremony. We had originally been hopeful that we could host our ceremony outdoors if the weather held up and the staff was there to support that dream however when we determined it was too cold they pivoted with grace. While the greenhouse had been our second choice it ended up being the perfect ceremony site and we got compliments from so many guests about how unique and cozy it was. The food and service were absolutely incredible! Luna and her staff had eyes and ears throughout the entire space, and were beyond accommodating to everyone with dietary restrictions and those needing golf cart rides in between spaces during the night. When I pulled a muscle during the dancing, Luna brought me orange slices for electrolytes! That moment encapsulates the incredible hospitality! All of our guests were extremely impressed with the incredible food and menu during cocktail hour and the reception, and we are still getting guests telling us how amazing the staff and the food was throughout the night. We were quite a large event with around 165 guests and the space was absolutely perfect for our size–cozy and yet spacious enough for a large dance floor and dessert bar. We had our cocktail hour in the market which was also cozy but comfortable enough. We liked the flow from the greenhouse, to the market, and finally into the barn to cap off the night. To sum it up once more– this was the best day of our lives and we attribute quite a bit of that joy to the ambience, aesthetic, and mostly service at Cecil Creek Farm. You will not regret working with Sam, Denise, Luna, Mark and the whole team! **Photos courtesy of Jennifer Morris Photography”

“Rachael and her team were absolutely amazing for our wedding whenever I had a question about the venue I knew I would get a very quick response from Rachael days leading up to the wedding. We kept our eye out on the forecast, hoping to have the ceremony outside in the garden however, with the rain we had to have it inside, but it was still absolutely perfect, they were able to get it, so that way you didn’t see everything underneath the tent during the ceremony and most of the time you didn’t even know they were there.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.

Which Budget Categories Matter Most for New Jersey Celebrations?

Liberty House and Hudson House provide scenic settings that work perfectly with advanced audiovisual systems to bring your ceremony to distant loved ones. Bonnet Island Estate offers unique backdrops that videographers can capture creatively for those who can't attend in person.
