The Historic Hangar is situated within Fort Vancouver National Historic Site (N.H.S.) and is adjacent to Pearson Air Museum. Fort Vancouver N.H.S. is one of the few urban National Parks, located in downtown Vancouver, Washington, and just seven miles from downtown Portland, Oregon. This Nationally Registered Historic Building was built in 1921 and was operated by the U.S. Army Signal Corps' Spruce Production Corporation. In 1924, the Army Air Service moved the building to its present location. The Historic Hangar's character and glamour of bygone eras has quickly become a favorite amongst the community. The white interior, exposed wood beams, and gorgeous view of the park grounds makes for a unique venue that can easily host any special event.

Black-owned open floor studio with large windows and original exposed brick. The large windows allow a hefty amount of natural sunlight to fill the room. Good for photo shoots, exercise classes, small banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, launch parties, and meeting space. There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading. Established in 2017. Three Portland beer industry veterans decided to open a brewery. In addition to delicious beer brewed on site we have a large, dog friendly year round beer garden and three awesole food trucks on site! We pride ourselves on being very family friendly!

This site was first developed by Philip Foster in 1847, as a resting place on the Oregon Trail. It still has four original Foster buildings (two moved onto the site), including a large hay barn, granary, and two houses. One house has been restored to its 1860 condition. We welcome all kinds of weddings, but are most appreciated by those who love Oregon History, and those who want to bring horses to the wedding. There are many options for how to use our site, and we are happy to help you create your dream event. Although parking is limited to about 50 cars, there is plenty of space for people.

Built in 1852, the house sits on just under three acres and is surrounded by gardens and farm lands. Our gardens consist of heritage roses, perennial beds, and a large lawn with mature trees. Also included in the village is the Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin, an 1850’s one room schoolhouse and the historic Butteville Jail. The grounds of the complex make a charming backdrop for weddings providing a wonderful step back in time.

We bought our farm in 2014 with the intention of bettering the lives of others. Lion's Heart Farm is known as a serene retreat my many.
