We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). I think she has her pricing down perfectly, and every single thing that she did for our special day was perfectly crafted to my husband and I and followed every single one of our requirements. She also incorporated several special moments that we didn’t ask for into our reception, and they were so perfect and unique to us. Maggie’s communication was concise and organized, and she made sure to follow up with us frequently, but not so much that it felt like she was bombarding us. When things started to get busy as we near the big day, Maggie made sure to follow up with us frequently so that I could focus on other things as needed. The day of my wedding, Maggie was so professional and handled all situations with confidence and ease so that I didn’t have to worry about directing her and giving her cues. On top of being such a professional with her work, she is a friendly and fun person. Our entire reception, her personality and playful demeanor alone kept the energy up with our guests and she made sure that my guests were dancing all night long. I had so many different specific requests for what should be played and what shouldn’t at the reception and ceremony, and Maggie rolled with the punches perfectly in accommodating us to craft the perfect Vibe for both events. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that you need to book her ASAP or any of your events or weddings coming up!! She is a hidden gem in the central Pennsylvania area!!”
