He listened to our vision and music choices and helped make our wedding possible. What is so great about Nate is that we never once felt like we were a number. Through this process, we all became family. In terms of the ceremony and reception, everything was perfect. The audio, the music, the vibes, and especially the beautiful uplighting were immaculate because of Nate. Not once did his energy drop, if anything, he made sure the party continued, and it did. He took control and didn't miss a beat on our special day. Nate understood exactly what to play, and he made our day easier. That's exactly what a DJ is supposed to do and then some. Also, his love and knowledge of music is just phenomenal. I know the themes of this review have been about family, caring, and service, and that's exactly what you get from Nate. Also, we had an amazing saxophone player who was fantastic. He's a great addition to Nate's platform. Let me say this. If we could get married again, Nate would automatically be the person we'd go with. There's no one like Nate, and there won't be. Nate is special and is truly one-of-a-kind. He creates memories, and we're just waiting to be able to have him as a DJ at another family function. He deserves all of the stars, likes, you name it. His YouTube page is amazing as well. Like I said, he is family now, and we love you, Nate! Which is why Nate Jones will always be our DJ.”

“If you're looking for a wedding DJ, I cannot recommend Fidel enough! From the very beginning, he was organized, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Before the wedding, we had three video calls to go over every detail. He also created a shared Google Doc where we could easily organize everything he needed to know, from our ceremony processional songs, cocktail hour and dinner playlists, bridal party entrance songs, must-play songs, and even a list of songs we absolutely did not want played. The entire planning process was seamless and made us feel confident that every detail was covered. Fidel also provided all of the audio equipment for our outdoor ceremony, including speakers and microphones for our officiant and my cousin, who sang during the ceremony. One of the most thoughtful things he did was help with my processional song. I had chosen a song that didn't have an instrumental version anywhere. Instead of telling me it wasn't possible, he created a custom instrumental version so my cousin could practice singing with it before the wedding. That meant so much to me and is something I'll never forget. On the wedding day, Fidel absolutely delivered. He transitioned smoothly through every part of the day and kept the reception flowing effortlessly. He took song requests throughout the night while still staying true to the vibe we wanted, and I especially appreciated that he played clean versions of songs earlier in the reception since we had a lot of younger cousins celebrating with us. The dance floor stayed full, the energy never dropped, and everyone had an amazing time. In fact, the very next day, every person I asked about the wedding immediately commented on how great the music was. That says everything. You can truly tell that Fidel loves what he does, and it shows in every part of his work. He went above and beyond in ways we never expected, and because of him our ceremony and reception were absolutely perfect. If you're considering hiring him, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!”

“I'm not kidding. Stop looking for DJs, photo booths, etc. and just book Team Wedding Day. If they're not available or already booked, well then move your wedding. Yes you're looking to book a DJ, but what you don't realize you need is mics for the ceremony, lighting, an emcee who won't make your wedding cheesy, and more. Niko was so amazing to work with leading up to the event and includes so many things in one big package that it's so nice to just check things off in one swoop. Team Wedding Day had us covered back to front. Niko is so nice and kind on the phone, so when he started mixing sick-nasty beats during the dance party, I was like "OMG who is this guy!" He fit our vibe perfectly, followed our play/don't play list, and emceed our wedding like a true pro. Niko listens, but pushes back when he thinks something would work better from his experience and it was so nice to work with him. During the cocktail hour and diner, he was always keeping tabs with us, making sure we stayed on schedule, asking if we needed anything, etc. and it gave us so much confidence that things were running smoothly. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun the dance floor was and it was 100% Niko. The photo booth was SUPER nice, much better than any I've ever used or seen before. And at the end of the night, they gave us a little album of every photo strip everyone had taken which was super unexpected but such a great surprise! “I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”
