Randall Garnick Photography

5.0

Ashland, MA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,850

It's been 12 years running this small business as a Boston wedding photographer, a New England wedding photographer, working all around the greater Boston area and traveling to destination weddings as well. It's been a crazy ride so far and I can honestly say I still love what I do! I am so grateful that 250+ wedding couples have trusted me to be a part of their weddings, to document one of the milestone days in their lives and to create beautiful heirloom albums and artwork they can enjoy for a lifetime. Ultimately that's what it's all about, serving my clients and creating an amazing experience.

Cannot say enough of the best things about Randall, and have already recommended him to wedding guests who have asked for him! We selected Randall after reviewing dozens of different photographers, we were extremely picky and looking for someone who matched our attention to detail, but had the artistic and empathetic sense to capture the best moments. The quality and style of his images stood out from the crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s natural and sophisticated. Randall’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were looking for. After meeting with him a couple times over the phone, it was obvious we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with Randall shows through in the final product. We are generally not seeking “cheesy photo moments” and have a tendency to strike a pose when there’s a camera. Randall knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. We also did an engagement shoot, which at first we were doubtful about. At Randall’s suggestion, we went ahead with it. I’m so glad we did, as it was useful to practice posing and working together ahead of our wedding. We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos from that exciting time right before the big day. It’s a truly unforgettable and unique time between engagement and marriage and now we have beautiful mementos of that time. On the wedding day, the pressure was on, but no pressure seemed too great for Randall! Randall was not only our photographer, but acted as our wedding day planner and manager, directing other vendors and even the venue staff itself. I do NOT envy Randall’s job. He had to deal with all our lofty expectations, direct the other vendors and venue staff, manage the bride and groom family dynamics, deal with a wedding party that was enjoying the preparation process, and found key and natural moments with all the most important people in our lives. We recommend Randall to all our friends and family and look forward to having Randall capture the most important future moments of our life together.

Kaylyn and Joe at Seamless Photography are an incredible team. We were planning a micro-wedding in Boston, and they were so responsive and helpful every step of the way. We reached out rather last-minute (our wedding was a month away!) and they helped us plan out the schedule and made sure we would get all the photos we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Kaylyn and Joe were very professional and so easy to work with! My husband and I don't usually take photos, but they made us feel comfortable and guided us through the whole process (from where to stand to what to do with our hands!). And the photos! The photos are absolutely stunning. I've been looking at them every day since we received them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Amanda Macchia Photography

Somerville, MA

  • Starts at $4,000

Hi! I’m Amanda, and I am deeply inspired by the opportunity I have to tell love stories every single day. I specialize in sharing your special moments, capturing your joy, and exploring your unique and beautiful world through my lens. I've been photographing weddings, couples, families, and brands since 2016, and have been creating and telling stories professionally since '09. In a different life I was an event producer and music photographer, having photographed everyone from Nas to Fiona Apple. On a good day you can find me in my home office surrounded by plants and cats, snacking on a burrito while listening to a podcast + editing photos.

We hired Amanda for a package including an engagement shoot and the wedding day. Amanda and her assistant Mike have been an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not be more pleased with how the photos have turned out. Seriously, it feels like we got pieces of keepsake art instead of just generic wedding photos/documentation of the event. Also, Amanda was wonderful at communicating, flexible when the forecast threatened to ruin our engagement shoot, and helped reassure us and pivot when we had inclement weather on our wedding day (even capitalizing on it and getting an amazing shot with a rainbow). On the day-of she brought a calm chill vibe and was great at capturing candid moments as well as moving people/arranging group shots without being bossy or invasive. As a same-gender couple, Amanda was great to work with- she used inclusive language, was affirming and sensitive asking about our family's involvement/support, and also made sure to learn/ask about our respective cultures (we're Indian/Jewish) to make sure she captured what was most important to us. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

Bella Wang Photography

Somerville, MA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,100

I am candid, communicative and caring. My goal always is to ensure you are heard and that you are comfortable throughout the process. In my portfolio you can see each couple's genuine happiness and comfort in their body language. It takes a lot to create the environment of trust. The rave reviews from my couples afterward show you how much they care about me in return. This environment of trust builds from the beginning and I honestly attract the kindest brides and grooms that allow me to create consistently strong images with heart in order to tell their story.

Bella is the absolute best. Not only is she professional and takes the most beautiful pictures, she's seriously the sweetest. Yes, you can find someone less expensive but I'm a true believer in you get what you pay for and Bella's photos speak for themselves!!! She's worth every penny!!!!!

It sounds cheesy but I love capturing authentic and candid moments and giving you photos that you can look back on and love; I've been photographing for over 20+ years. I never realized (until going full-time with photography) that photography has always been such a present part of my life; I love documenting these moments and having them to look at later. I notice all of the small details, the exchange of smiles during a ceremony, or the look in your partner's eye when they see you for the very first time walking down an aisle. I'll capture it!

We spontaneously booked an engagement photo shoot with Jenn after connecting through a local group page. So glad we did, she relieved so much unnecessary anxiety we had over our coming wedding photos! We're not at all natural in front of a camera, but Jenn knew exactly how to direct us. We also ended up snagging one of our favorite hidden gems of a local museum for our shoot and Jenn captured it perfectly.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we started planning our wedding I knew that I wanted to work with Isaac. I had been following his work on Instagram for a few years after my friend got married and I always love the energy and emotion he can capture in his photography. The photos are bright and colorful and feel very natural. After meeting Isaac, he is one of the nicest people and it was a real pleasure to have him at our wedding. And the photos turned out just as I had hoped. There are lots of great family shots, the details of the bridal party getting ready, setup and all of our guests enjoying the reception are really fun. And the sunset photos have a magic quality to them. I definitely got so many photos its difficult to decide which ones to print and frame for the wall.
