Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. We wanted to do a private last dance and would have been fine to use our phone as a speaker. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I’ve been running Ridiculous Entertainment as my main business for 14 years. I picked up DJing as a hobby when I was in high school, falling in love with hip-hop and learning to scratch records. Throughout my college years, I DJed tons of parties. I now also work in live audio engineering, record albums in my home studio, play in bands, and produce stage shows with the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS).
