In addition, I’ve participated as talent, as well as tech and presentation, in music related events all around the Washington DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland region for three decades. I branched out into doing weddings in the 00’s, and it has been great! I love playing weddings and sharing in the joy of the happy couple and their families!

The Wave is the ultimate variety dance and party band and, as their name suggests, with a contemporary edge! Brandon, the main male lead singer, competed on NBC’s The Voice and got three of the four judges to turn their chairs around, which were Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson! Bridget, the female lead singer, performed several times with John Legend on ABC’s Duets. She also toured internationally and sang in the film, The Sin Seer.

Ellington has a rich musical career that consists of teaching, performing, producing, and composing. He performs jazz regularly, accompanies for choirs, soloists, and collaborates with various ensembles. He is self employed as a freelance performer and teacher. Ellington holds a Bachelors of Music Degree in Jazz Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Music Technology, both from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

Retro, smooth, and timeless. Sweet Something was created by vocalist and front-woman, Ariana Harbin, with the intention of bringing her favorite jazz tunes of yesteryear back to life. Expect to hear the great music of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, Nat King Cole and more during the band’s performance. The group has provided entertainment for various events in the DMV area, including weddings, corporate events and cocktail hours, charity galas, retirement parties, and more, and has performed at venues like The Army Navy Club, The DC Botanic Gardens, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Watergate Hotel, and many more.
