“Our experience in Red Ridge was amazing!! We had a micro wedding with about 30 guests. Chris and Bethany and their staff are very professional :) we felt very comfortable since day 1, they made sure every single detail was taken care of. They were extremely flexible with many of our changes, they have great ideas and suggestions, we knew they have a lot of experience with weddings since our first conversation. They made sure the WHOLE wedding planning process was smooth and the least stressful possible for us. We HIGHLY recommend Red Ridge for your wedding or any other event. The day of our wedding there was a high possibility of rain, but the staff was ready with a plan B. The place is beautiful, everything was sooo elegant and the staff is great! :)”

“Absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Two Wishes! We chose the venue for the privacy and space it gave us (almost 200 people) and allowed us to bring our dog. The weather was perfect and we were able to have the reception outside. Between the beautiful barn and stunning outdoor area with dance floor/stage under twinkling lights, the night was so magical and exceeded all our expectations. The bridal suite was by far the best I had seen at any venue. It's basically it's own house with a big beautiful open room with lots of mirrors/chairs/outlets, perfect for a large group, and SO MUCH much natural light. Also has a giant porch with an amazing view and a full bathroom so we could shower. We also appreciated the flexibility of their staff and how accommodating they were. We adored the venue manager Janeen who was so kind and easygoing. They even allowed us to bring six adoptable dogs from a rescue group I volunteer with to our cocktail hour (on top of our own dog). It was so much fun and gave the rescue so much exposure. Hard to imagine many other venues that would allow this and we are so grateful!”

It had the perfect Austin vibe with the indoor/outdoor elements, the old rail station, the beautiful plants and trees, and the location near the heart of downtown. It had elevated elegance with a rugged Texas charm. Hannah was absolutely amazing to work from start to finish. She made everything feel so easy and calm, no matter the decision to be made. The entire bar staff and the in-house florals, Native Botanicals' Colin, were also equally amazing to work with. The florals were absolutely breathtaking. All of our guests raved about the venue and how much fun they had at our wedding. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It was PERFECT!!”

“This was the second venue that we toured, and the moment we stepped out of the car, we knew we had to book this for our wedding. Every inch of this place tells a story and has an amazing vibe. Matt and Renee were a dream to work with. They understood our vision and tried to make any ideas we had work. It happened to be the one time in Texas it rained for our day (of course!), but it actually turned out to be stunning weather. They were so fast shifting between rain and sun plans, still accommodated what we had in mind while also ensuring our guests were taken care of. They have amazing connections with people in the wedding business, literally every recco we went with they provided was perfect. I still am depressed about the day being over because it was just that good. I will forever recommend this venue - you truly can't go wrong.”

“My husband and I searched high and low for the perfect wedding venue, and this property exceeded every expectation. We knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding, but we still wanted it to feel beautiful, special, and intentional. Even though we only had 12 guests, the property is spacious enough to accommodate much larger celebrations. There are actually two homes on the property and accommodations for bridal parties up to 28 guests, making it ideal for wedding weekends and family gatherings. This property would also be great for a much larger wedding because the property is HUGE. Plenty of room to bring in tents, tables, and decor. We turned our wedding into an entire weekend experience, starting with a welcome pool party and BBQ for our guests. The property has everything you could need, including an incredible bridal suite, a stunning permanent wedding arch, and large gathering tables perfect for hosting meals and celebrations. The younger crowd loved being able to continue the festivities in the game room after the parents called it a night. We spent hours singing karaoke, playing poker, and enjoying all the games available. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every area was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The wedding arch created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and the scenery was simply unforgettable. As if the day wasn’t magical enough, we were treated to gorgeous pink skies and even two rainbows on our wedding day. The host was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process, and having a property manager on-site gave us extra peace of mind knowing any needs would be handled quickly. Everything about our experience was exceptional. From the accommodations and amenities to the beauty of the property and the outstanding hospitality, every detail helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough.”

It was the first venue we toured, and we immediately fell in love with the historic charm of the mansion, its carefully curated spaces, the breathtaking garden, and the modern reception hall. The mansion was perfect for getting ready the morning of our wedding. It has a stunning bridal suite, a kitchen made for breakfast and mimosas, and a spacious hangout area for the guys, with plenty of room for our large wedding party and family. Having so many spaces on one property made the whole day feel seamless, with different options and backdrops for getting ready, photos, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We adored our photos in the garden and had a blast dancing the night away. So many of our guests have raved about how gorgeous everything was! The venue provided tables and chairs for our 125 guests at both the ceremony and reception, and offers additional high-quality rentals you can add on. Their onsite floral team is also fabulous to work with and beyond talented. They brought our floral vision to life perfectly. For guests, the venue is less than 25 minutes from downtown Austin. We coordinated shuttles for those staying downtown, and there was plenty of parking for anyone who wanted to drive. Most of all, the team was incredible. From our first tour through our wedding day, they were friendly, communicative, and genuinely kind. They shared detailed information and vendor recommendations upfront, which made our planning process so much smoother, and they were always ready to help with any questions. It was the best day of our lives, and we couldn't be happier that we chose The Grand Lady!”

“Woodbine Mansion was everything I dreamed of and more! I only toured one venue, and the second I stepped onto the grounds, I knew it was where I had to get married. From start to finish, their communication was incredible. I always felt informed, supported, and completely in the loop throughout the entire planning process. There was never a point where I felt like I didn’t know what was going on or what came next. We chose to use their clear-top tent for our reception, and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It completely transformed the space and created the exact atmosphere I had envisioned for our wedding. Woodbine also has an extensive list of recommended vendors, and everyone we worked with was professional, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful. Before getting married, I constantly heard people say, “It can be difficult working with venues to get exactly what you want.” That could not have been further from my experience with Woodbine. Their team did everything they could to help bring my vision to life and gave me everything I needed to create my dream wedding day. The getting-ready suites are also gorgeous and created the perfect atmosphere for the morning of the wedding. Our bridal party had the best time getting ready there, and everyone absolutely adored the venue. Another thing I loved about Woodbine is how many different spaces they have for ceremonies and events. There are so many beautiful areas throughout the property, which gives you the flexibility to create a wedding that truly feels like your own. If I could redo my wedding 1,000 times, I would choose Woodbine Mansion every single time. It was truly the perfect place for our day, and I couldn’t recommend it more!”

“From our first conversation with SkyForest, the management team was straightforward about what they could deliver, and they followed through on every promise. The venue itself is stunning—spacious, pristine, and feels like a private retreat with all the luxury touches you want for your wedding day. Beyond just providing the space, they went above and beyond by helping us coordinate rental equipment and even offering us decorations from their collection to choose from, which saved us time and money. They also arranged a parking attendant for us, which was a huge relief since our guests didn't have to worry about where to park or navigate any confusion. The whole team was professional and responsive throughout our planning and on the day itself, making the entire experience feel effortless. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in bringing our vision to life.”

I have always enjoyed European gardens, they are magical! My inspiration was the Gardens of Versailles located in France. I wanted to create the Fairy-tail venue for our brides to walk through, with elegant formal pruned shrubs, enchanting Juliette balcony to over look the 3 acres of gardens with 250 rose bushes. Old world architecture to give it that Cinderella vibe. The ballroom is all white with 3 crystal chandeliers, a white marble floor, with walls enhanced with the Bridgerton details to give it that simple elegance. The Mansion is where the bridal party gets ready with lots of space, large bridal & Grooms suite, large kitchen, 3 bathrooms/showers, and a beautiful spiral staircase. We also have Guest accommodations available, created in a small private French Village with 6 individual chateaus decorated in the French style of elegance. The Village has a large town square fountain, swimming pool with lounging furniture, BBQ & corn hull game and butterfly garden.

Why you'll love this venue

“I still can’t believe a place this magical exists in Texas! When I started looking for wedding venues, I never expected to find such beautiful gardens right here in New Braunfels. It made me feel like I had been transported straight to the European countryside, and was everything I dreamed of for my wedding day! At first, I felt overwhelmed with all the planning, but Amy was truly incredible. She was so kind and supportive, offering amazing vendor recommendations that perfectly matched our style. The vendors we chose made the entire process so much easier, and I’m beyond grateful for the fabulous team that helped make our perfect day a possibility. When it came time the wedding day was so relaxing. We stayed in the little French village she had next door and it made everything so easy! It felt like there was nothing to stress about and I could just focus on the fun part (getting married!!!) Our photos look like something out of a fairytale, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning the venue was. We will definitely be coming back to renew our vows in a couple years, just so we can do it all over again. Highly highly recommend the gardens of Cranesbury View! 3”

“Perfect venue for a DIY friendly wedding. No preferred vendors, requirements for licensed party planners, etc. Noel and Victoria made the whole experience easy and casual. There’s an attached kitchen for food prep, a bridal sweet, an elevator for easy loading/unloading, chairs/table’s available for a reasonable price as well. We were able to coordinate getting into the space the day before for set up. The only issue was getting security set up for the day of. You have to work with the local police department and i didn’t even know if they were actually coming until they showed up. But Noel personally spoke to the chief for me and ensured it wouldn’t be an issue.”

“We have our wedding booked 10/2027 but we did our engagement shoot here this past weekend and I can't wait a whole year to leave them a great review. I want more people to know how amazing this place is! First off the owners/staff are easy to communicate with and so helpful, I really appreciate all the advice and help they've given so far. Let's talk about the venue- the ceremony and reception area are beautiful alone but add in the picturesque land surrounding them and you have a masterpiece. The family home, bridal room and honeymoon suite are also so nice and convenient. I don't often reference energy and vibes in my everyday life but there is no other way to describe the feeling when you're on this property. It's an immediate calming feeling, something magical. It's also obvious they care deeply about their animals on the ranch. Hickory and Cooper (horses) were featured in our engagement photos and they were great model horses. We've also discussed our dogs as having them in our ceremony was important. They are dog friendly and are also dog people themselves, bonus!! If you're looking for a beautiful rustic venue where you can spend a peaceful weekend with family and friends all in one place then look no further. ️”

About wedding venues in Buda, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
