Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

Nice to meet you! Christian here, I have lived all my life in the DMV. (For those who don’t know what that is: DC, Maryland & Virginia metropolitan area) I also enjoy traveling abroad whenever I get the chance, always with a camera in hand :) I spend a lot of time with family and at church. I try setting a good example for the youth at my church and helping wherever I can. I have a beautiful wife who I enjoy traveling and eating with :) a beautiful daughter that we cherish with everything we have. Lastly, a Toy Poodle. Roxie is the friendliest little creature to roam the earth.

I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I'm also a musician and I help craft most of the music in the wedding films I create. I love working with couples that have unique personalities and styles. My work resonates the most with who it's made for, and I always keep that audience in mind.

Paperboys is a boutique wedding film/photo agency located on the ‘skirtz of Washington D.C. We started down this regal road in 2014 and we have the mountain of harddrives to prove it! We’re a collaborative team of filmmakers and photographers who live for making amazing things for the world’s most friggin’ amazing couples. When we started this business on a wing and a prayer, we quickly realized that working alone is not a ton of fun - some would say, it’s for the birds.
