He visited and researched the venue (Seattle Aquarium) and lighting on his own (no flash by the fish, dark interior), and proactively setup meetings and reminders. We had never hired a photographer for a large event before, and Jonathan explained what shots would work best and timing. Jonathan worked with an associate photographer to shoot the wedding, which went very smoothly, and then Jonathan did the final editing. Communication was always easy and thorough. We did a backpacking elopement with a few friends and I loved how Cherlyn fit right into our group. It felt so fun and natural to have her with us. “Becky is AMAZING! I first met her in 2016, when she photographed my college graduation pictures. In 2018 - a little over a year into dating Ryan - I asked her to do our holiday pictures. She made Ryan feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera for the first time! Over the years, Becky has documented our love and has become a very close part of our lives as a couple. She was there for our engagement pictures in 2022 and we couldn’t imagine our wedding day being documented by anyone else. A month before our wedding, we did private vows under Mount Rainier. Just me, Ryan, Becky and the mountain. Ryan and I wanted it to be as private as possible. Becky was so great at giving us privacy during the reading of our vows while still getting BEAUTIFUL and intimate pictures of it.
