As amazing as they were, my husband and I were too focused on each other that we could not fully appreciate the music playing when I was walking down the aisle. So, listening to the music playing during cocktail hour after photos were taken, was worth the investment. They were absolutely great and as we listened back to the recordings of the ceremony, the music was perfect. My husband and I wanted a forest wedding. For the music, some of the music was inspired by the video games we played together. I even walked down the aisle to a Kingdom Hearts song. Alisha and Nathan were able to play ANY SONG and accommodate to our unique tastes in some video game music! They communicated to us quickly over any changes or any questions that they had. Best of all, they surprised us with a song that we did not request, but we absolutely LOVED because it was from our favorite video game! They are two amazing, kind people who are willing to accommodate any song requests you'd like. My husband and I 100% agree that they were one of the best parts of our wedding. We do not regret hiring them for cocktail hour and the ceremony. All of our guests loved the live music and we are looking forward to hosting another event just to have an excuse to hire them again! :)”

“My husband and I got married this past August and I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but we had a big move and time got away from us. As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

“Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”

Their experience and care showed in every aspect. From the first moments we spoke on the phone to start planning for the event they made us feel completely confident that we were in great hands and they wanted nothing but the best for us. Lauren, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She managed the setup flawlessly and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. She added so many special little details, like creating a little bag of only green m&ms for my grandson, to adding finishing touches to the cake that made the day feel so magical. Her organization and calm presence made such a difference. Nick, the DJ, brought the perfect energy to the celebration. He kept the dance floor full all night and did a fantastic job reading the crowd and creating a fun, lively atmosphere. And Bert, the bartender, was wonderful—friendly, efficient, and great with our guests. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the service at the bar. They especially loved the spicy margaritas! Steele Entertainment exceeded all of our expectations. They played such a big role in making the day unforgettable, and we’re so grateful for their hard work and dedication. Highly recommend!”
