Weatherhead Hollow is a historic Vermont farmstead created for unhurried wedding weekends. Couples have exclusive access to the property for a multi-day stay, with space to host several moments across the weekend rather than compressing everything into a single day. We host just 12 weddings each year (May–October), each reserved as a private, three-night experience. Your stay includes on-site accommodations for up to 12 guests, along with full access to the barn and grounds. Weatherhead Hollow is best suited for couples who value time, flexibility, and ease – and who want the freedom to shape their celebration at their own pace. Outside of weddings, the farmstead offers fully funded artist residencies — a commitment to beauty, care, and craft reflected throughout the property.

The 571-acre Scott Farm, a The Landmark Trust USA property, is home to 130 varieties of ecologically-grown heirloom apples and other fine fruits, a seasonal Farm Market, and the Apple Barn Event Center. All 23 buildings on the property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A popular wedding venue, the farm is surrounded by four authentically-restored historic year-round vacation rental properties accommodating up to 22 guests—one of which is Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha where he penned the Jungle Book. The Stone Trust Education Center, located in the 1862 Barn, showcases beautiful, unique dry-stone wall installations around the property. The Apple Barn accommodates up to 120 guests, has a commercial kitchen, three restrooms, one is wheelchair accessible. Overlooking the farm and mountains, a delightful spot for special occasions, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. Country Club of Greenfield was established in 1896. It is one of the finest, and oldest, golf courses in New England. On October 22, 2011 the former clubhouse was destroyed in an unfortunate fire. Over the next year, a brand new building was constructed on the grounds of the old restaurant, and Terrazza Ristorante opened its doors on April 1, 2013. The restaurant is managed by Abaz Cecunjanin and his two brothers, Ermin and Erdin Cecunjanin, who also serve as executive chefs.
