“My husband and I recently got married September 2023 at Hotel Providence in Rhode Island. Planning a wedding was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. Finding the perfect vendor for each part of your wedding is hard. I spent many many days privately messaging people and trying to see who fits what I need for this day. I came down to the DJ. I found Josh of D and J entertainment. I read all his positive reviews and decided to give him a call. He without hesitation answered all my questions and drove from Massachusetts to Rhode Island to meet with us. Josh hands down is one of the coolest people you can talk to. He is very honest but in a good way. He lets you know was popular with weddings now and helps you out his spin on it. Josh’ company has amazing pricing. They are able to accommodate all weddings. With so much you have to pay for on this day it’s nice paying someone and feeling like your money is actually going to be used well with him. They arrived hours before the ceremony to set up. The hotel loved the company too and how polite they were. Josh came prepared with all the music we requested to hear that day. From the minute we walked down the isle to when everyone left. Josh kept playing amazing music. All night I wasn’t let down once by the song choice. In some areas the venue messed up on a few things. Example the cake cutting and first dance. The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. He took it upon himself to take more professional photos for us. That’s what I call above and beyond. Couldn’t believe he went that far out of his way for us. “My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. He kept the night running smoothly despite the changes we made to the schedule of events at the last minute. Throughout the night he checked in with us and advocated for everything we needed. “We really loved Justin. He was awesome to work with leading up to our wedding, and most importantly he was an excellent DJ. He ably performed the basic MC'ing duties (introductions etc), but mostly just kept the good music going, transitioning from hit to hit, keeping our guests dancing all night (seriously, we only had 36 guests, and we worried it might be a kind of lame dance floor, and everyone was up dancing for hours). “Where to start when working with M.C. Fish?! Right from the first video interview, Dave brought such a great and personal energy when talking about our wedding with us. He was so incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to every aspect of the reception and made us feel like we were in great hands every step of the way. Whenever we had questions he was right on top of responses, and even helped us with aspects outside of the music/reception. When it came time for our final planning meeting he was incredibly thorough with every detail on how the night would go. “DJ Zeke was incredible! His personality and ability to read the room kept our dance floor full all night long. My wife and I spent most of the time on the dance floor as well...and we don't dance! We had a nice phone meeting about 2 weeks prior to the wedding to go over the schedule of events for the night and songs that we wanted for specific things. We had given him a list of 10-15 songs that we wanted and from that he created a playlist based on our tastes as well as what different groups of guests would enjoy. He happily accommodated our many requests - we did our father daughter dance together, we wanted to open the dance floor with the Chuppah, we were having both sets of parents make speeches along with the maid of honor and best man at separate times, and we had two groups that wanted to perform songs they had written for us! He even hooked them up with the instrumental version of a song for the background.
