Redline Band was AMAZING!!!

We had Redline at our wedding last month and they were absolutely amazing. The best wedding band we’ve heard! My husband and I walked in to see the reception area while the band was practicing and they sounded amazing from the start. Everyone was up dancing the entire time. We kept getting comments how great they were and how they had everyone up dancing throughout the whole night! If you’re still deciding what band to book, your decision has been made!

Tom and David were THE BEST!!!! Tom Pendergast played the guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and not only could he play all the songs I was looking for during the ceremony (Lover by Taylor Swift was PERFECT), but he also absolutely rocked the garden party wedding theme during the cocktail hour with his covers. All of our guests said he was amazing! David Landeta was our DJ for our reception and he CRUSHED it! He spent so much time leading up to the big day working with me on having the perfect music for dancing, for days after the event our friends were texting us saying how great he was!

If you want a party with people sitting around, occasionally and grudgingly getting dragged to the dance floor by their partner, then DO NOT hire Redline. The band was FANTASTIC, their playlist is amazing (like 300 songs - we found tons to request), they got the mood just right with quieter songs for the social hour and - after dinner - transitioned our party to a raucous, joyous, pull-out-all-the-stops dance celebration. The 3-piece horn section was amazing, the 2 singers were fantastic, and they kept the place rocking until the very last song. Our kids took over 1/2 the dance floor while the “old folks” commandeered the other half and it stayed packed all night, song-after-song. There was never that moment where everyone loses steam and sits down. As the night went on, even the single guys felt compelled to come out and join the fun. Months later, whenever the subject of our party comes up, we STILL get complements about the band. I can say in all honestly that they MADE the event!

This was the first time I had planned such a large event with a DJ and live music. Cory Harding at Murray Hill Talent worked a miracle in explaining what decisions needed to be made and offered superb advice in choosing a sax player and DJ. The party was fantastic! Charles Langford, the sax player who played at the reception, knew exactly how to play at the right volume, performed a beautiful selection of pieces, and was highly professional. Niko Tripoli, the DJ, was a superb master of ceremonies and achieved the impossible — a mix of popular dance music, Latin dance, and swing. Murray Hill Talent is the best company in the Boston area, with the highest expertise in offering top musical artists.
