Shagari Gerard Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Baton Rouge, LA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000

I am a lifelong artist. I got into photography when I picked up a camera to do a portfolio. One friend after another asked me to take pics for them after I did an artist album cover. Then one day a friend asked me to document a wedding. My first was rough but it has been weddings ever since. I love capturing love with my perspective. I have a laid back approach and help my couples feel at ease along with their families

I admired this photographer’s work long before my son got engaged, so when the time came, I knew exactly who I wanted to capture these special moments. From the initial booking process to the engagement session and wedding day, every experience was seamless and professional. The photos exceeded our expectations, and every important moment was beautifully captured beyond what we could have imagined. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and their professionalism made everything stress-free. I loved the work so much that I booked a Mother’s Day photo session with my mom and sisters as well. If you’re looking for someone who is talented, professional, and truly passionate about their craft, I highly recommend!

I'm Dee! A Baton Rouge wedding photographer and expert at making you look your best, helping your fiance feel at ease, connecting with your family and friends, and capturing the moments that mean the most to you. When I saw the final edited shots after the fact I was blown away even more. Dee's quality of work matches her quality of character perfectly. Highly recommend.

Madison Willis Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA

I have been documenting love stories for over half a decade and will chase this calling to preserve precious moments forever. There is something magical about capturing moments between couples madly in love, the celebration with their closest family and the teary eyed vow exchanges. I strive to capture the genuine laughter between bridesmaids, your mom buttoning up your gown, candid banter of the grooms party, the liveliness of the dance floor and so much more.

Can’t say enough about this girl!! To start my original engagement photographer I had booked for 3 months in advance and she cancelled last minute. Luckily, I found Madison..she accepted the job on extreme short notice and went above in beyond with the planning of the actual spot etc. we knew ahead of time it would be raining that day and I had no flexibility on day to propose. She didn’t care, she was ready, rain boots, rain coat, 4 diff cameras all ready to go, her and her husband were hiding in the bushes very incognito ready for the special moment. My fiancée and I were running late but Madison still accommodated and didn’t make us feel rushed. She was super kind, a great vibe and made our pics gorgeous. Can’t say enough about her. The pics came out like a fairytale. 10/10 would reccomend.

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
Edgar is the best! He was fun to be around and up for anything. He traveled hours to meet us and even went on a pretty buggy/muddy hike to capture the most incredible photos. We are both so awkward in front of a camera and he immediately made us comfortable - such an important skillset! We can't wait to see him again next June for our wedding, and have so much faith that he will hit it out of the park again!

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace was just amazing. For a day that was overwhelming and very stressful, I cannot thank her enough for her calm and kindness. My now husband and I are usually not "photo people", as we tend to be more introverts than anything else, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Her professionalism and guidance during the shoot can be described as more than stellar. I will definitely recommend her to all of my friends who will be getting married soon. During all the chaos, I was extremely thankful to have chosen her as our photographer.

I seek the hard-to-see moments, the ones that we might normally miss. I'm looking at the in-between, telling the story of intimacy and of elegance, serving clients worldwide as their Dallas & destination wedding photographer. Whether your story shines most in the small, quiet moments, or on the dance floor with your closest friends, I'm documenting the moments of love between you all, and every beautiful detail in between.

I discovered Jenny on social media several years ago and I knew then that I wanted her to shoot my wedding day. Her style is amazing, she’s a perfect human being, and her albums are a true work of art that tell a story rather than still images. When we received our wedding albums my jaw was on the floor. I could not have asked for a better photographer to shoot our wedding. She exceeded every expectation that I had and I want her capture moments of our life going forward! She is very easy to work with, punctual, and truly the best photographer that I’ve ever seen. Anyone would be lucky to have her on their big day!

We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Karla for our wedding! From the first consultation to the final gallery delivery, she was professional and incredibly talented. One of the things we appreciated most was how closely Karla followed our picture list. We had a few specific shots and family groupings that were really important to us, and she made sure every one was captured without us having to worry or remind them on the day. Her attention to detail and organization helped everything flow so smoothly. Karla was assertive with family and friends who needed to be included in the pictures- it’s exactly what you need when you have a big wedding party and family! On the big day, she captured every moment perfectly—both the big emotional highlights and the small, candid in-between shots that we’ll treasure forever. Her eye for detail, use of natural light, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera truly set her apart. Karla does such a wonderful job giving guidance to everyone involved- even little kids. She blended seamlessly into the day, making sure nothing felt staged or forced, and she captured genuine emotion throughout. The final photos were delivered faster than we ever expected, and the quality blew us away. Her final photographs are so vibrant every color pops! Our friends and family haven’t stopped raving about how beautiful the pictures are! We can’t recommend her enough! Thank you again for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever! Marie & Philip

Hi, I’m Chris — a Nashville-based wedding photographer who genuinely cares about how your wedding day feels. Most couples tell me they’re a little nervous about being photographed, and my job is to help you relax and be fully present while I document the moments that matter most. I bring a calm, steady presence, gentle guidance when needed, and a thoughtful eye for the in-between moments you don’t want to forget. I'm Ashley a Cleveland, Ohio portrait photographer specializing in dark and concept driven imagery. With 18+ years of experience, I blend mood, storytelling, and artistic depth while offering a range of editing aesthetics to match each client's vision. I hold a Certificate in Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography and am also self taught. When I'm not creating, I'm with my supportive husband and our 2 cats Pumpkin & Goblin. We love traveling, trying new things, and discovering great food. My passion for photography began in childhood, inspired by my mother's photos and 90s magazine ads.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Important Points about Sage & Iron You Should Not Skip: -Budget friendly -Super flexible -Empathetic and understanding -Professional family wrangler -Prompt communication & transparency -Open to ideas if you've got 'em, but if not that's totally fine too -Easily the most "human" professional photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with Sage & Iron (we only worked with Ashley) is someone I felt super comfortable with right away--which says a lot because I'm usually so untrusting of most people I hire for things. My husband and I were hunting for a wedding photographer that could provide spooky/moody photos of us, but also some traditional classics too. All with the very tight constraints of funding our small wedding ourselves, we thought we'd never find what we were looking for. *Enter: Sage & Iron* We booked with S&I right away, and while I originally had plans with a friend to take our engagement photos, that fell through, and S&I(Ashley) was SO understanding when I asked about booking an engagement session even though it wasn't originally in our plans. We scheduled for dates in the fall, but it's Ohio, so there was of course rain.. then wind.. so our spooky moody engagement shoot ultimately was pushed to early spring in a cemetery. You would NEVER know that we didn't take these photos in the late-fall! Mission: Accomplished I am chronically forgetful, but Ashley always came through with reminders about payment dates, and was always incredibly flexible with me when I said I'd text her soon and "soon" became days. A Saint of Patience! Not to mention, all of our wedding planning (Read: Me stressing out) was happening while Ashley was experiencing some heavy life-things of her own, but she never once made me feel like anything less than a priority. Truly dedicated to her clients and making sure they feel heard and cared for. Wedding: It was beautiful weather all week, but naturally, bonkers wind and rain the entire day of our wedding. Unfortunately, and at no fault of S&I, our venue that already was lacking in the "indoor photo locations department" decided to book a 1000 guest event at the last minute the same day of our wedding... So are many of our photos in a stairwell not designed for photos? Yes. Did Ashley do her damndest to get interesting photos of the bridal party despite the lack of indoor locations or ideal lighting conditions? I believe so! She was also a champion of wrangling us, keeping the family under control during photo time, delegating whose turn it was to get photos with the bride and groom next, it was like watching a foreman in a work zone. And I NEEDED someone to do that for me because I was, well, a bride. In summary: S&I (Ashley) is a joy and a pleasure to work with, even when I forget to download my own wedding photos before they came down from the website... She still has them stored safely for me to be able to download them. An angel. If you're looking for a photographer who is real with you, keeps you updated, has transparent pricing and won't ever try to bait-and-switch you, cares about you as a human first and foremost, knows how to flex some genuinely cool moody artistic shots but still nails the classics, you've found your vendor!

I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an wedding storyteller and lover of love. I offer photography and videography services for elopements, micro weddings, and traditional weddings. Based in Alaska and servicing the PNW and New England.

I found Meghan on TikTok literally the day after I got engaged and immediately knew she had to be our photographer. I wouldn’t let my husband take no for an answer — and I’m so glad I didn’t. From the very beginning, Meghan was friendly, down-to-earth, and made both of us feel totally comfortable (which was really important to me because I normally feel so awkward in front of a camera!). She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was amazing at communicating throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand our vision for a cozy, casual backyard wedding — and brought it to life through her warm, documentary-style photos that perfectly captured the vibe of the day. So many guests commented on how awesome the photographers were! Even though I leaned toward candid, documentary shots, Meghan was super flexible and helped us with some posed photos too, which turned out beautiful. She even helped set up our tattoo station (and got her own temporary sleeve — iconic), and sent us some Polaroids after the wedding, which was the cutest touch. Overall, Meghan was such a good vibe. It honestly felt like hanging out with a close friend who just happened to have a camera and a really good eye (: Can’t recommend her enough!

With a soft editorial style, natural movement, and true-to-life tones, every gallery is crafted to feel romantic and intentional. Based in the Pacific Northwest and available for travel, Onyx + Thyme creates timeless imagery designed to bring you back to exactly how it felt.

From the moment we booked Cassandra Fisher Photos, we knew we were in good hands. Cassandra and her team were fast, friendly, empathetic and fun to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Their communication was top-notch, and they helped us stay on track with timelines and the timing of all the shots. On the day of our wedding, Cassandra and her team demonstrated incredible flexibility, seamlessly integrating themselves into the festivities and making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. The final photos were absolutely breathtaking - the quality, creativity and uniqueness of their work was worth every penny and more. We are thrilled with the beautiful, high-quality photos that will allow us to cherish our special day for years to come.

Andrew did our engagement photos and they were totally different from what other photogs we had considered were doing. The work he gave back to us felt special, personal, and artistic. Truly one of a kind—he’s even traveling to the Southwest for our wedding and we highly recommend his work!
