Shagari Gerard Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Baton Rouge, LA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000

I am a lifelong artist. I got into photography when I picked up a camera to do a portfolio. One friend after another asked me to take pics for them after I did an artist album cover. Then one day a friend asked me to document a wedding. My first was rough but it has been weddings ever since. I love capturing love with my perspective. I have a laid back approach and help my couples feel at ease along with their families

Shagari was a dream to work with. He made sure we were having fun and captured the full essence of our day. Communication was excellent before, during and after our wedding. We get compliments on our photos all the time. Would have another event so we could book him again!

Photographing weddings is such a special opportunity that I don't take lightly! I want your moments and story to be told in the photos in the most beautiful way. Your wedding day should be the best day, so I will do anything to help make that happen!

Title says it all. Our wedding photos were perfect in every single way- even my husband said so! LOL. Emily made things so so easy on us. We didn't feel like we were taking time away from the day to take pictures yet she must have taken a million. We got them 6 weeks later as promised and each one was beautiful- she is truly so talented.

Madison Willis Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA

I have been documenting love stories for over half a decade and will chase this calling to preserve precious moments forever. There is something magical about capturing moments between couples madly in love, the celebration with their closest family and the teary eyed vow exchanges. I strive to capture the genuine laughter between bridesmaids, your mom buttoning up your gown, candid banter of the grooms party, the liveliness of the dance floor and so much more.

Connecting with Madison as our photographer was such a gift. She has a way of making the whole process feel easy and relaxed, even though I'm not great at taking pictures myself. Madison knew exactly what she wanted from us and guided us through proper poses so we could get the photos we actually wanted. She made everything feel effortless. Her framing and creative vision really showed in every shot, and you can tell she brings years of experience to her work. We felt SO comfortable around her all day and the final photos are exceptionally beautiful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. -Bryan

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
Edgar is the best! He was fun to be around and up for anything. He traveled hours to meet us and even went on a pretty buggy/muddy hike to capture the most incredible photos. We are both so awkward in front of a camera and he immediately made us comfortable - such an important skillset! We can't wait to see him again next June for our wedding, and have so much faith that he will hit it out of the park again!

I seek the hard-to-see moments, the ones that we might normally miss. I'm looking at the in-between, telling the story of intimacy and of elegance, serving clients worldwide as their Dallas & destination wedding photographer. Whether your story shines most in the small, quiet moments, or on the dance floor with your closest friends, I'm documenting the moments of love between you all, and every beautiful detail in between.

Jenny is, without a doubt, one of the best photographers in the industry. From the very beginning, we knew we didn’t just want someone who could take beautiful photos—we wanted someone who truly understood us and could capture the heart and soul of our wedding day. Jenny exceeded every expectation. From our first intro call, we immediately felt at ease. Jenny took the time to truly get to know us—asking thoughtful, intentional questions to understand our vision, our priorities, and the emotions we wanted to remember most. She stayed in touch throughout the months leading up to our wedding, offering helpful guidance, creative ideas, and an incredibly calming presence. Her communication was always proactive and professional, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our day perfect. On the day of the wedding, Jenny was everything we could have hoped for and more. She brought such great energy—fun, focused, and reassuring. She kept us on track without ever making us feel rushed. By the end of the day, it felt like Jenny and her second shooter were longtime friends—part of the celebration, not just vendors. Then came the photos... and wow. We were completely blown away. Jenny has this rare gift of capturing not just the moment, but the feeling. Every photo told a story—our love, our personalities, our laughter, the quiet in-between moments, and the deep connection between us and our family and friends. We’ve looked through the gallery countless times and still tear up. It’s everything we dreamed of and more. Working with Jenny was one of the best decisions we made. She’s not only incredibly talented but also a genuinely wonderful human being. We would recommend her a hundred times over—and then some.

Hi, I’m Chris — a Nashville-based wedding photographer who genuinely cares about how your wedding day feels. Most couples tell me they’re a little nervous about being photographed, and my job is to help you relax and be fully present while I document the moments that matter most. I bring a calm, steady presence, gentle guidance when needed, and a thoughtful eye for the in-between moments you don’t want to forget. I believe your photos should feel natural, timeless, and true to you — images that bring you back to the joy, connection, and emotion of your day every time you look at them.

We absolutely loved working with Chris both for engagement photos and our wedding day. He and his second shooter made everyone feel comfortable and we got amazing photos, they were even out on the dance floor! The turnaround time for our wedding photos was amazingly fast. Would definitely work with them again :)

I'm Ashley a Cleveland, Ohio portrait photographer specializing in dark and concept driven imagery. With 18+ years of experience, I blend mood, storytelling, and artistic depth while offering a range of editing aesthetics to match each client's vision. I hold a Certificate in Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography and am also self taught. When I'm not creating, I'm with my supportive husband and our 2 cats Pumpkin & Goblin. We love traveling, trying new things, and discovering great food. My passion for photography began in childhood, inspired by my mother's photos and 90s magazine ads.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Important Points about Sage & Iron You Should Not Skip: -Budget friendly -Super flexible -Empathetic and understanding -Professional family wrangler -Prompt communication & transparency -Open to ideas if you've got 'em, but if not that's totally fine too -Easily the most "human" professional photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with Sage & Iron (we only worked with Ashley) is someone I felt super comfortable with right away--which says a lot because I'm usually so untrusting of most people I hire for things. My husband and I were hunting for a wedding photographer that could provide spooky/moody photos of us, but also some traditional classics too. All with the very tight constraints of funding our small wedding ourselves, we thought we'd never find what we were looking for. *Enter: Sage & Iron* We booked with S&I right away, and while I originally had plans with a friend to take our engagement photos, that fell through, and S&I(Ashley) was SO understanding when I asked about booking an engagement session even though it wasn't originally in our plans. We scheduled for dates in the fall, but it's Ohio, so there was of course rain.. then wind.. so our spooky moody engagement shoot ultimately was pushed to early spring in a cemetery. You would NEVER know that we didn't take these photos in the late-fall! Mission: Accomplished I am chronically forgetful, but Ashley always came through with reminders about payment dates, and was always incredibly flexible with me when I said I'd text her soon and "soon" became days. A Saint of Patience! Not to mention, all of our wedding planning (Read: Me stressing out) was happening while Ashley was experiencing some heavy life-things of her own, but she never once made me feel like anything less than a priority. Truly dedicated to her clients and making sure they feel heard and cared for. Wedding: It was beautiful weather all week, but naturally, bonkers wind and rain the entire day of our wedding. Unfortunately, and at no fault of S&I, our venue that already was lacking in the "indoor photo locations department" decided to book a 1000 guest event at the last minute the same day of our wedding... So are many of our photos in a stairwell not designed for photos? Yes. Did Ashley do her damndest to get interesting photos of the bridal party despite the lack of indoor locations or ideal lighting conditions? I believe so! She was also a champion of wrangling us, keeping the family under control during photo time, delegating whose turn it was to get photos with the bride and groom next, it was like watching a foreman in a work zone. And I NEEDED someone to do that for me because I was, well, a bride. In summary: S&I (Ashley) is a joy and a pleasure to work with, even when I forget to download my own wedding photos before they came down from the website... She still has them stored safely for me to be able to download them. An angel. If you're looking for a photographer who is real with you, keeps you updated, has transparent pricing and won't ever try to bait-and-switch you, cares about you as a human first and foremost, knows how to flex some genuinely cool moody artistic shots but still nails the classics, you've found your vendor!

I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an wedding storyteller and lover of love. I offer photography and videography services for elopements, micro weddings, and traditional weddings. Based in Alaska and servicing the PNW and New England.

I found Meghan on TikTok literally the day after I got engaged and immediately knew she had to be our photographer. I wouldn’t let my husband take no for an answer — and I’m so glad I didn’t. From the very beginning, Meghan was friendly, down-to-earth, and made both of us feel totally comfortable (which was really important to me because I normally feel so awkward in front of a camera!). She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was amazing at communicating throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand our vision for a cozy, casual backyard wedding — and brought it to life through her warm, documentary-style photos that perfectly captured the vibe of the day. So many guests commented on how awesome the photographers were! Even though I leaned toward candid, documentary shots, Meghan was super flexible and helped us with some posed photos too, which turned out beautiful. She even helped set up our tattoo station (and got her own temporary sleeve — iconic), and sent us some Polaroids after the wedding, which was the cutest touch. Overall, Meghan was such a good vibe. It honestly felt like hanging out with a close friend who just happened to have a camera and a really good eye (: Can’t recommend her enough!

My style is best described as vintage with influences from old hollywood. I have worked every type of wedding and I love to travel!

Andrew did our engagement photos and they were totally different from what other photogs we had considered were doing. The work he gave back to us felt special, personal, and artistic. Truly one of a kind—he’s even traveling to the Southwest for our wedding and we highly recommend his work!
