Misty Acres Flower Farm & Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (27 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Austin, TX

Misty Acres Flower Farm & Floral Design, based in Schertz/Seguin, TX. Bespoke creations that have the "Flower Farm Difference" - tidbits of local blooms and textures for a customized experience for every bride. Old school work ethic, and dedication to details without the old school look.

Awarded Best of Zola
I found Misty on Zola and was immediately impressed that the flowers are grown locally. She has a true gift and passion for creating arrangements. I gave her a few photo ideas of what colors and types of flowers I was looking to incorporate and immediately during our initial phone conversation I could tell she was excited about my vision and understood what I was looking for (greenery, natural, white roses/anemone, she even suggested floral crowns which turned out amazingly in photos) I even added extra boutonnieres and wanted some thistle added during our last consult and she still made it all happen. The bouquet was gorgeous, she talked me through all of the floral items and how to display them (I chose to pick them up myself). I couldn't have asked for more. Everything was beautiful and she cares so much about the work she does.

I cannot say enough good things about Katya! She went above and beyond for our wedding in making sure it was all exactly how I envisioned and more. She genuinely cared about making sure I was happy above everything else which spoke volumes. Due to budget constraints, we were going to have to do some fake hydrangeas which I was really bummed about, but she surprised me on our wedding day with more real than we were expecting! It meant so much to me and truly shows her heart behind her work! Our day would not have been the same without her! She was by far our best vendor for our wedding and I highly recommend her to anyone! She is so kind and extremely talented/knowledgeable! She is extremely creative and will more than execute any design, and she was super easy to communicate with. I second all the other reviews on here— she’s truly the best there is!

Wild Heart Floral
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Austin, TX
  • Starts at $2,500

With having an adventurous spirit from the start, an appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, and preferring mother nature over the indoors, working with flowers came naturally to me. After experiencing nearly 8 years in the floral business, I decided to embark on my own venture and Wild Heart Floral was born. I learned that I wanted to bring weddings back to the heart by offering services that cater to more intimate gatherings.

Working with Kaylie was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The flowers were vibrant, unique, and matched exactly what we envisioned in our vision board. Perfect for a spring wedding! My bouquet, with the protea as the standout, was not only beautiful but also held special meaning for me. Kaylie was also able to perfectly incorporate some bowls that we bought from Round Top and wanted to use in the altar arrangements. Every arrangement felt thoughtfully designed and perfectly suited to our wedding theme, and everything was very cohesive. The florals looked stunning in person and translated beautifully in our photos. Kaylie worked within our budget without compromising on quality or style. She is professional, talented, and easy to collaborate with, so the entire process was stress-free and enjoyable. She picked up on exactly the kind of vibe we wanted and executed on it! We’d highly recommend Wild Heart to anyone looking for unforgettable floral design and top-notch service.

I enjoyed not having to waste flowers the day after our wedding, I could send them back in for the next bride! If I had not gone with something borrowed we likely would have make our own flower arrangements. I was nervous about not knowing how those would look until the day of. I loved knowing EXACTLY what my flowers would look like on my wedding day. They were gorgeous! The customer service was never lacking! The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Austin, TX

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
